Great price for a huge air fryer.

Here’s hoping it works in conjunction with https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/800994 for a further $20 off.

Just ordered for $60 click and collect using the second code on that page. Thanks !!

      • Yes only second code worked

        • Yep, me too. Maybe add to the title OP.

You need to italicise the huge.

That aside, you may not be surprised to hear that I feel quite similarly…

  • I think this having a basket is BS looking at photos. No basket, no dice.

    • Why?

      • Pain in the ass to clean and cumbersome.

    • Amazon reviews say the base tray is removable which is why its so large. No basket per-say to pull out just the base.

      • +1

Yes had both, with proper basket and base. No contest. With basket you unclip and dump out the contents no worries eg chips. No basket means you need to pick everything out or you will dump all the residue out with contents.

        • I started with Philips. Have been through 3 maybe in a LONG time. Have used family members cheap/off brand airfryers and always hated most aspects of them in comparison. Nothing ever came out the same really. So have always just stuck with Philips. So I couldn't comment on having it all included.
One thing I do miss is when Philips used to have a wire bottom, that was removable from the removable basket. Was much easier to clean that way. The new all in one "non-stick" ones suck. And they all end up gumming up at some point (or gumming up around the element) after many years of use. They kinda internal filters or something too.

  • Warranty ?

I think when I read even one review of the teflon peeling away after a few uses I noped out and removed from cart.

5 bad reviews just means thousands of happy buyers that haven't commented.
For $60 bux is a no brainer.

      • yes, that's for next purchase.

Yup. And you can use that voucher right there in store for new purchase.

  • shopping happiness, buying a giant air fryer i didnt need.

Just pointing out its specs state 1600-1800w, so this is a cheap Au conversion of an American model. Proper Australian models are normally 2200watts.
The difference is waiting longer to heat up, and longer cooking times especially with frozen food.
I have the smaller version of this, but the same 1600-1800w spec, the main annoyance is waiting for it to preheat in winter or preheat to 200c, and also it takes longer to cook most things then the cooking instructions on labels.

    • Been wondering why the cooking times were out (we have the smaller one and now this) - thanks for the info.

    • Googled similar capacity air fryers and found most are around this same wattage with the exception of high end Philips models

  • has anyone collected one yet? thoughts?

    • Picked it up today and did some frozen chips with it. Took about 20 minutes on 200c for half a basket full and came out pretty good. First air fryer so nothing to compare to but it did what it says on the box.

    • Still waiting for the confirmation for collection, hope they can do it today. The shop only open 1pm to 9 pm on Anzac day.

  • I bought the Mistral 4 litre when it was $49 and is going great. Definitely a no brainer for 12 litre @ $69.99 delivered as I have no local Spotlight. Thanks ordered one.

What an absolute c236&$)t of a site to join up to , gave up ,sick and tired of the merry go round 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤬🤬🤬🤬

  • Was looking for one in the last few months…
Bought two, thanks OP, amazing deal
    Wife is happy

  • OOS to pick up where I live.

  • Have been using this for the last two weeks since purchase and it has been great. I have simply added one minute to all my regular air fryer times and it has been working perfectly fine. The extra space has been game changing and the lack of a basket has not been an issue. If anything I like being able to prop up the plate with a spare rack so that I can bring food a little closer to the element when cooking some items. I also find the plate much easier to clean than the baskets in my other units.
    Zero regrets so far.
