    Hi Roys,

Does this have terminals for hardwiring to connect third party receivers/home kit to control opening?

    • I'm also very interested in this question

    • It appears to support universal remote connection - Figure 8, page 10 of the manual.

      • Have just checked, and it works: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/x8Ak_Es-9EM
The board appears to be 24v and cannot see any 240v. If unsure, a qualified electrician will be required.

    • Hi Semaj,

Should be, see 21. Terminal Connections: c. 24V DC universal receiver (Fig.8‐C) in the manual:

      https://www.cgdoors.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/RDO10A…

But I'll double check and test one on Monday and let you know 👍

  • Thanks OP! Just as I gave up on trolling through FB marketplace to find a deal.

    • No worries 👍🙂

If only shipping wasn't $42 to Syd.

    • $296 to me in regional Vic….I'm out.

      • That is way too high. I have just added the automatic postage calculation, but have not seen one that high.
Can you PM or sent via https://roys.au/contact-us/ your suburb and post code and I can check.

        • Is ~$85 correct for 6280 WA?

I just ordered it thinking it was from over east but now realise it was Perth based. I cbf heading up to pick it up anytime soon anyway.

          • @02keilj: Hi, that seems a bit high for WA, I will have a look and email you👍

            • @roys: Yo wicked service man. Thanks

              • @02keilj: No worries 🙂👍

  • What does this do? Does it convert a manual garage to an automatic one?

    • Correct 👍

      • I need one of these but have no idea how i'd install one hahah

        • Roller doors can be quite dangerous/heavy, so if you are not sure it's best to get a pro.

Here is a video (not ours): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aggsJOEduT4&pp=ygUVSG93IHRvIGl…

Always ensure the doors are up when working on them

          • @roys: I assume this can't automate the lock though? So you'd still have to get out of the car to unlock the garage door first? How would you automate the locking/unlocking?

  • Might have to get one of these and try installing myself…
What's the shipping eta to Melbourne?

    • Hi, should be around a week or so, depends if you are regional or not

    • Just updating, it is taking longer for Sendle / Couriers please to pickup the parcels.
They keep rescheduling for the next day (usually they are quicker). Hopefully they will pickup on Monday.

      • Thanks for the update 👍

  • Any updates on this one? Received an email saying it was shipped on the 22nd but tracking still just says info received?

    • Hi, have contacted Couriers please, and they have said they are coordinating a pickup.
Apologies for the delay, usually, they are quicker to pickup.

      • Any indication on when this will be sent out? Been 10 days now… Can I just pick it up instead?

        • +1

Hi, they were picked up yesterday at around 2pm. They did not scan all of them, so the tracking my not update for a while.

          • @roys: Thanks for the updates just had the tracking notification come through.
