Anyone know if this is per person or per transaction? The T&Cs are unclear.

Simple rule for ShopBack, if it doesn’t specify it’s safely to assume it’s per transaction

        Per Shopback account?!

        • +4

          per transaction

Not sure how clearer I can phrase that lol

Otherwise ShopBack will say per user which in this case they didn’t

        Thanks

  • With the westpac bonus, is it calculated as 28% cashback off the price before taxes or does it calculate as 18% first, then 10% of that?

    • +1

Calculated as 18% + 10% of your total purchase

Not sure why I got negged when it’s the correct answer lol

From my personal experience, Shopback is just snake. Had a number of instances of rejection of legitimate referral and cashback. Their excuse is there is no record on the system so REJECTED both cash back and referral bonus.

If you want to save the frsutration and save some time of your life, steer clear of Shopback.

Have to admit, the experience with Cashreward (similiar business model) is much better. There are times Cashreward missed a few transactions and it got honored every single time when it was raised with customer service.

It is night and day between the two.

Just checked my SB Rewards history and have luckily have 100% payment success (32 over the last 12 months, various vendors). I use PC and Firefox.
I have a strict routine, Pi-Hole off, Ad-Blockers off & never have items in basket in advance. I did have 2 not track but submitted a claim with attached screen recording of the transaction from A-Z and was paid without issue. CR are slightly worse % wise but like SB after claim submitted, paid without issue. Thanks SB & CR & TopCashback :-)

    • Don't use SB then. Stick to the CR posts.

I wouldn't trust shopback for Uniqlo from my experience, better to use Cashrewards' 15%

yeah a lot of ppl say it's gonna be 'Calculating' for so long until eventually rejected. Ive got one as well.

  • Is this correct regarding maximum order amount to not exceed the cap?

    $20 cap ÷ 18% = $111.11 order amount before tax

    $111.11 × 1.1 = $122.22 order amount after tax (listed price)?

  • Tempting.. Should I apply for a Westpac account?

Where is the info regarding the additional 10% for Westpack account? I can't see any reference to it on the Shopback. I'm just wondering if it also applies to St George customers.

Do you need to save the card first before you use it?

    • I also added my westpac card. Can't see the additional 10% on the SB site either.

Edit: Available through Shopback Mobile App.

  • Anyone's cashback for this is still calculating ?
