Wife is sick of water all over the kitchen bench from our steam steriliser so thought I'd give this one a go. Have been watching the price for a while and this is the best I've seen. Reviews seem reasonable.

A DAS then aye ;-p
Thanks so much, nearly bought one the other day. Great deal! Bought one
I've got one that was used for baby stuff.
Now i use it to sterilise jars and other items.
Can you sterilise other things, mobile phone?
these are fantastic. been using one for over 7mths and it's been great.
these are epic
Thanks dude! Just got one. Newborn en route an no idea what gadgets to get!
Does the UV lamp need to be replaced every year or so?
This one is 6000 hrs I think.
I have tried a few sterilisers and this one is the best.
Any potential for this to be used as a food dehydrator in the future? I've seen some other steriliser/dryers advertising that function
Have been using one for 4 months.
Excellent device.
Can run only UV or dry as needed.Apparently UV breaks down latex? So they go through dry only.
What's the advantage over microwave sterilisers?
I think all sterilisers do the job so its more about the conveniences. For me this UV unit doesn't need to have water added (like most steam/microwave sterilisers) so easier to setup and less mess from steam water leakage. It also has a dry function (some steam ones do this too now) so I don't need to dry bottles before or after. It can also be set to run periodically so can be used to store/resterilise your clean bottles. So it's pretty much personal preference. Would I pay the RRP @$300+, probably not but at half price it's worth it for me. PS we use about 8 bottles/day so if you only use bottles occasionally then again this may not be as worthwhile.
Good to know! thank you. Can other-than tommy tipee brand fit into it? pigeon?
Yes can use any brand however the number of bottles you can fit may vary.
The microwave sterilisers take 3 minutes, this thing takes 35.
For that reason alone, we didn't consider anything except the microwave units - you can just sterilize on demand, and they work just fine. Not sure why you would need to dry the bottles ? Once you grab one from the microwave steriliser, just give it a shake and it's ready to go 🤷🏼♂️ There's no drying.
Yeah after a bit more looking and thinking I decided against it. Agree with you and didn't realise it took 35 minutes that sucks.
Oh wait this is not a NAS device?!
