St.George have 70% too, place 2 orders for $20 cashback.

    • Thanks, added to title

    • +1

Csn we do two seperate orders ?

      • Don't see why not if you have both cards

      • +2

I placed two separate orders on my Westpac and St George cards not long after midnight. Received tracking confirmation for both orders close to 9am.

The bonus is the tracking shows that I'm getting the $10 cashback even though one of the orders 70% cashback calculated to less than $10. Looks like I'll be making some small changes on this deal.

Edit: The Sponge Bob pizza does not combine with a similar price pizza for the Tuesday 2-for-1 offer.

Max spend $14.28 for 100% cashback

    • $18.57 (or less) large pizza, pre HUT5130 code?

Warning, St George bonus may not track. It didn't for me and a few others.

    • +2

lucky STG still hasn't sent me a card after signing up 2 weeks ago.

  • +9

My last 2 orders for St George pizza hut cash back didn't track on April 6 and 8

    • +1

My St George also did not

    • +1

SAME, might have to shoot a message to GYB

  • Will pair well with my free wine

    • How long we got to use the FC $10? Think it was a year? (I don't live anywhere near a FC, so waiting for a free delivery deal).

  • Mine didn’t track from yesterday!

  • Oh nice time to try that pickle flavoured ice cream!

  • Mine didnt track. Only the Pizzahut though.

  • I hope the $10 cap is not combined for both Westpac and St George. Plan to do 2 orders with both cards on the same account.

    • +1

WBC and STG bonuses are supposed to be separate, but you know how reliable the system may be.

  • +3

St George bonus did not track for me from April 6. Any word from @gotyourback about when it should?

Notice they also never post deals any more, just leave it to other people…

    • -1

Coz SB does not need to pay "other people" to do the work.

In comparison, TA said a new CR rep is coming up but hasn't turned up yet since Jan (coz CR can't afford to pay someone to do it?).

      • -1

Do you not remember when TA and GYB used to post all CR and SB deals? GYB is still a rep for SB and if a rep posts a deal, they'll be notified of comments and can mitigate concerns before they negatively impact the business. As their title, they represent the store.

Look at 2023 and then 2024. GYB has posted 3 times this year. Compare this to 2023 where they posted 5 times in April alone. It's possible I missed an update they would be stepping back but they haven't made a forum post.

CR also does not need to pay other people, you still see CR deals getting posted.

        • +3

It’s not the same person. You can tell straight away from their writing style. Someone else at SB has taken over the account, and they are less helpful.

          • -1

@Moo Deng: Thanks, tbh they haven't been around enough for me to really see the writing style change but looking at comments they've posted I can also tell.

          • @Moo Deng: I agree, and very slow to respond to messages. Not sure what’s going on in the cashback world but things are not how they used to be.

          • @Moo Deng: I joined SB end of Dec 2022. Was curious if I've interacted with a different person operating GYB's account. When do you think was the change of writing style?
Checking my DMs, it seems to be the same GYB since end of Dec 2022. Perhaps writing style in 2018-early 2022 different to 2023-2024 from the posts. GYB hasn't posted or commented regularly recently.
Had several issues from the start and GYB sorted them out eventually. However the responses were slow and I had to remind several times for GYB to look into it.

      • @Neoika @pennypincher98 I'm surprised that GYB didn't post the St George deals when St George was quietly launched in the ShopBack app before the email was sent. Was wondering recently whether I should continue to post the cashback deals. It would be better that the reps post these deals as sometimes they don't track or pay out. More issues with ShopBack and TopCashback than Cashrewards.

I posted a TopCashback deal last week and it was crap. Contacted the rep several times who was slow to respond and I hope everyone will get the cashback. Not doing that again.

I've only been buying gift cards and joining cashback sites since 2022 so missed out on the good old days of Cashrewards and ShopBack. Not the same anymore.

There are still 10 positions advertised today at Cashrewards (down from 14 last month).

        • Was wondering recently whether I should continue to post the cashback deals. It would be better that the reps post these deals as sometimes they don't track or pay out.

Well the old GYB would save drafts that would post at midnight so it's not like you'd be able to get in beforehand with those kinds. But yeah I'm very surprised that there wasn't a post about the St George lounge launch, it was basically just a member realised it was there and thought "oh maybe this is worth telling others about" (afaik)

Bowed out of this one, the quality of pizza hut isn't worth the potential 70% loss lol

          • @pennypincher98: Same issue here with the quality of pizza hut.

I've managed to post 12 ShopBack deals and got a badge for store fan.
However this post needs a rep:
            https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/840495

            • @trixieb: The quality varies from store to store, or even day to day at the same location.

From previous comments, the CH location pennypincher may visit is indeed shit. Try different location if you can. I know a location almost outside Metro makes consistently good ones, but I can't go there often.

              • @Neoika: Yeah I realise that there are good pizza huts, I've had some myself but the value of this pizza (for me anyway) is it's supposed to save me time and going out of my way to a decent store, remembering to check it tracks, chasing it up numerous times and making sure it's approved often ends up wasting more time than it saved.

I'll hand in my OzB licence for my time actually being worth something to me.

Can you stack this with the 2 for 1 pizza off on Tuesdays if you order today?

    • +3

2nd dot point in OP’s post under special notes: Preordering is allowed

Cashback is eligible on pickup and delivery orders, including pre-orders.

    • -1

      ..almost compulsory!

What sux though is that if you order a $16.45 pizza, and then a $11 pepperoni pizza (and chose epic pepperoni for another $3).…. the price becomes $16.45 + $3.

      Not really 2:1 when a $14 pizza and a $16.45 pizza costs $19.45!

  • +3

god, I so want to get this deal, but I am trying to lose weight before we go to Bali…..and I am sure this won't help lol

  • +1

Dammit, I wanted to use the code for "2-large-pizzas-19-pickup" but it doesn't seem to work unless clicked through a link.
And I can't wait until tuesday

  • +3

Pulled the trigger used both cards
Reading the posts here I am getting weary of using cashback. On the last deal used St George card they first stated wait 5 days now 30 days. Got an email asking me for details and card info. The card info is in their system and once I made the purchase I sent in screenshots of whole transaction which I usually do.
One would think they would have all correspondence on a client in one file so they can see the evidential correspondence

  • +3

Both my purchases with Westpac has tracked

    • +1

      Ditto for STG bonus.

      • My Westpac + bonus has tracked. (Didn't take a risk on StG but should have, oh well.)

        • Your Cashback may be tracked at a different rate initially and adjusted to the correct rate when we confirm the transaction details.

The tracked amount excludes the Sunday surcharge, although the T&Cs don't appear to mention such an exclusion. Will this be adjusted later?

        • Pretty sure Sunday surcharge has always been excluded. You can argue that it's not specifically written down for this deal but personally it's not worth arguing with ShopBack over email.

Edit : I just had a look at the Pizza hut Shopback page and Sunday surcharge is listed in the exclusions so no 100%

  • +4

Just checked this AM Westpac tracked St George card did not. SECOND time St George card not tracking

    • Did you add the cards to the SB account first? Make sure and Confirm it like this in the App before purchase. Do not use PayPal, GPay, Apple Pay.

Tracked 5 times (including giftcard purchases) successfully on 2 different STG cards recently. Debit card seems to respond sooner than credit card.

  • +2

Both standard cashback tracked, only the Westpac and no StG bonus tracked. Seems an ongoing issue with StG for some reason

  • Both WBC and STG tracked for me using ShopBack app on iPhone. I’ve always used ShopBack app on phone and never had any issues with purchases not tracking. I wonder if those that didn’t track is because purchase was made using web browser?

    • Web browser is fine as I did 90% on it.

I think some used the card without linking to SB or used PayPal.

    • Didn't make a difference for me. First time I used desktop, second time mobile. Neither tracked the STG.

  • +1

STG bonus didn't track for me again, but WBC did. Regular cashback tracked for both.

I noticed my local store appears as B2V Management Pty L <City> instead of Pizza Hut. I wonder if that has something to do with the tracking issue?

  • The base + StG bonus tracked around the same time (~10 mins apart) on my two accounts (one CC and the other debit)

  • +1

my westpac bonus hasnt tracked but regular tracked. anyone else with this issue?

    • +1

      Same here.

    • +1

My Westpac Bonus didn't track either. The 3rd time in the last 3 Pizza Hut transactions. Only the standard cashback tracked.

      • The store issue. The merchant listed on your card is not a Pizza Hut location.

I think all STG cards won't track any purchase for bonus at that location.

        • +1

The merchant listed on my card transactions are Pizza Hut with my local suburb name attached at the end of it. Have received westpac bonus before for Pizza Hut transactions at this store.

Only the last 3 promos didn't track.

  • FYI Shopback has not yet tracked all St George credit card cashbacks

  • If you have evidence and financial contract not adhered to / https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/advertising-and-promotions…

  • +2

How do you submit claim for Stg bonus? my stg pizza hut didn't track on april 6 and 8, the same location wespac tracked

  • Anyone had support add their missing St George bonus cashback? Submitted tickets over 2 weeks ago but nothing yet

  • Still haven't heard back for St George ticket. What an absolute joke.
