      Bank name is just the outside shell. SB recognizes the card by card serials(possibly the first 6-8 digits). Add the card to check whether STG offers are unlocked in the App. The offers won't be unlocked with no eligible card linked.

      You could also argue why is there a separate St George lounge but that's obviously Westpac's decision.

      Besides, this is legitimately the first thing worth getting with a St George card compared to months of Westpac.

    • It’s part of Westpac Group but not the same as Westpac Banking Corp. Same reason they have two independent CC loyalty program (Altitude vs Amplify).

              @Neoika: I think you are right. I just checked my missus account, she has a debit card linked while mine is a CC. We each placed an order around the same time. Her bonus tracked already while mine hasn’t.

    @gotyourback there seem to be a fair few of us who have not had the StG bonus track for this offer. Is there something on PH/SB end that you know of that has caused this issue? I haven't had any issues with the StG bonuses before.

    • this happened in the past for a couple of Pizza Hut x Westpac deals and was eventually sorted out. i'll be submitting my missing cashback claim now as it's been 5 days.

    lots of hazzle for a simple pizza surely its no good to get everyone to individually submit a claim, SB should just do a mass fix please.

    • Did you add the cards to the SB account first? Make sure and Confirm it like this in the App before purchase. Do not use PayPal, GPay, Apple Pay.

      Tracked 5 times (including giftcard purchases) successfully on 2 different STG cards recently. Debit card seems to respond sooner than credit card.

      • Yes, it is successfully linked. Took a long time to find it on the website version, it is in the my partnerships. Used the card directly without third party app/website, and it still has not tracked properly.

        Lodged a dispute, but this is probably incorrect as the queried on is the click before the purchase as the purchase click is not able to be disputed.

          Bank tracks purchase by location while SB tracks it by cookies. However, some locations may appear as not a Pizza Hut store in bank's backend setting as someone pointed out it. Westpac may have already patched some issues like this.

          You may notice that: When you pay online on Pizza Hut directly, you pay to the local store directly. But when you pay via PayPal, you pay to "Pizza Pan Group", the main Pizza Hut account, ineligible for bonus though.

      • Had my ticket with SB for over 2 weeks now, haven't got any cashback added for the missing bonus yet.

        • I also have a support ticket that hasn't moved in 2 weeks. But they said response within 30 days, so I haven't bothered following up yet.

          • @toniyellow: Yeah mine says 30 days as well but I am used to a lot quicker turn around from SB, that was before GYB was taken over by another person though. Usually it was less than a week. I was hoping it would be pretty simple as the base tracking worked, just not the bonus from StG
