I was on the hunt for some flat pedal shoes and came across this sale. $49.99 across the board on Ride Concepts shoes, original prices between $109.95-229.99.
Each style has fairly limited sizes available, but there are 26 styles in stock at the time of posting, so hopefully one of them fit you.
I've not tried these shoes before, but they seem well rated online.

pretty stiff for flat pedal mtb riding. Grippy rubber too
I assume these have you asking similar questions to me - i.e what is the difference between these and "shoes"….
I guess it's this sort of stuff:
"Vice introduces the RC Fuzion outsole - an inverse, gradient diameter hexagon pattern designed to bring the pedal closer to the rider. Sloped-angle inverse hexagons, varying in diameter from 9mm at the toe and heel" etc.etc.etc.
Yeah, mountain bike shoes in general are designed to make pedalling easier, and so have stiffer soles. It’s possible to walk around in them but they don’t feel like normal shoes.
Assuming these would be good for Gym use too?
@[Deactivated]: The vice model would probably be fine, to me they're kinda like a slightly stiffer vans, but with a more comfy insole.
Not sure exactly what you want in a gym shoe but I'd expect the other options to be bulky and stiff, and potentially too grippy?
@Srey: Grippy, almost flat, non cushiony shoes. Dont want to wobble when lifting heavy. But dont mind a little heal to toe drop.
@[Deactivated]: Better than running shoes, but the standard Vans or Converse are probably just as good. Or real weightlifting shoes…
I guess these are cheap.
They are shoes designed for cycling with flat pedals. Compared to regular 'street' shoes/trainers etc they are stiffer and have a grippy sole so your foot doesn't slip on the pedals. The added stiffness makes riding more comfortable.
I had a look at these the other day, sizing availability is all tiny or huge.
I've got a pair of vice mids at the moment and although I like the fit and feel, the grip is a long way shy of my previous 5.10s. I know the vice aren't meant to be super sticky, but even so these are a bit less grippy than what I expected.
Flexy and comfy enough that they'll probably just become general wear arounds when I pick up a better pair for the bike.
These would have to be some of the ugliest shoes I've ever seen. Rivers would be proud of them.
Are these slip resistant? Has anyone used these?
Filtering on this website is a joke.
The first filter you must always apply on Pushys is "in stock", which ends up removing 95% of the results.
Yep, did that. It still brought up other sizes than what I filtered by.
Are these solid base shoes or something ?
