      Oh, right. You used to be able to email them to buy direct. They probably got tired of having to process so many orders manually so they quickly set up a basic Shopify store to handle it!

  Does anyone know what the warranty is? It seems it's a saving of $200AUD from retail so a decent saving if the warranty period is decent and backed by Amazon (compared to some 3rd party reseller).

    Bloody Hell,

    So Amazon has no information on their system about a warranty length and suggested I contact Seagate. Seagate (after I dealt with their silly bot) said I needed to contact Amazon.

    Ahhhh

    Its a good saving, especially since they will be holding non-critical information, but if I can't even confirm such a basic piece of information I wont be buying.

    Can any one assist? I can't imagine they would be usual 5 years.
