Would normally agree that local warranty is better but for Peak Design US warranty is not an issue. I have made a claim with them directly before and the service/speed is better than the vast majority of local stores.

Peak Design warranty also far exceeds our consumer guarantees. If you do buy from Rushfaster (or any other seller) it all still applies though so you're not losing anything, but just saying for PD gear specifically the same concerns about warranty/support don't really apply like they would other brands.

Yup but if you buy from us, we will stand up for you when needed. :)

    That's one expensive backpack.

    • It's a travel backpack, and you try buying luggage space on an airline and see how much you pay on your whole trip.

  • Good price on the Zip too

    • the zip?

      • the Zip

        • +1

          zip zip zippy zip

      • They’re referring to the PD Everyday Backpack Zip.

Anyway.. sage is a nice colour, better than black imo.

  • Any general coupons to use on the site? :)

bro think of the positives… the deal that is there vs the one that isnt

  • Just waiting for Rushfaster to match Aer SFs website on the Commuter Brief 2 :)

  • Can you shed any light on why this applies to Sage only and not the black?

Is an updated model coming soon at all by chance?

    • +6

it's because it's sage bro. Black is too popular. Sage is overstocked. Therefore deal.

For this price, the backpack should carry you!

    • i see no response… seems like that deal ended a while ago?

      • It’s working. I can see it on their website and I’m on the checkout page. Are you able to price match it?

    • We match the lowest price on the internet, always. But no massive sale like the other day sorry.

  • +1

Any chance you could match the Peak Design price of $367.96 for both colours?

I can confirm the 20% code works.

    • Show me it working and ill tell you what i can do.

Can confirm the 20% code works on the PD website for both colours

  • Comparing this with a good cabin luggage.
This weighs 2.05kgs with no wheels and hardshell protection. While a July cabin luggage weighs 1.8kg, has wheels and you can still carry another backpack with laptop on most airlines. The July one is around $150 cheaper as well
Wondering if this a good cabin luggage alternative at all?

    • I am hoping for July to go on some kind of sale soon…

    • Different usecases I guess. I'd think this would fit a lot more stuff than a hardshell which is good for airlines that don't weigh your carry-on.

And at the end of the day, you can't put a hardshell on your back.

Good question for your own usecase though!

      • A 45L carry on will most definitely be weighed by airlines. But yeah, I think this backpack will be a good choice for a non airline travel

        • You'd be surprised! I've had huge camera backpacks etc. that were filled to the brim that have never been weighed by Qantas, Qatar, Etihad or Singapore Airlines.

The budget airlines have always weighed my bags though.

  • How does this compare to the everyday backpacks?
Got a 16” MacBook to carry around along with keyboard, mouse, food, lunch etc…

    • I use a 18L one for similar stuff and it fits well. 45L is absolutely way too bulky as a day pack.

  • Great Bag! i have travelled internationally with it a number of times, plenty of space and pretty well thought out (its great having handles all over the place to be able to quickly extricate your bag from a stuffed overhead bin).. all expanded it can look massive (and its a large backpack to begin with).. i have sage, and i went for that over black in the hope it would blend a little better than a massive black blob on your back at boarding.. (hopefully less chance of getting weighed.. so far so good other than mandatory back weighing at the check in - at which point i am generally carrying/hiding my laptop in a sleeve)

I have the PD camera cube, and the Flexibility and protection it gives to camera gear is great!

also can't beat having a backpack when your trying to juggle 3 large suitcases and wife's roll-on!, or when trying to keep an eye on all your baggage when arriving at foreign lands

expensive, but worth the money (seems to be the case with all PD gear!)
