  • These better than the jbl 760 deal from officeworks?

    • +2

Depends on the budget? The JBL headphones are $34 cheaper https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/jbl-tune-7…

I don't know about JBL but I have these and they are well made, noise cancelling is ok for budget and battery lasts way longer than my Bose. I can recommend them as a decent budget pair. They're a bit bulkier than my Bose.

    • Nope. These are better bang for buck

Earfun have released their first over ear headphones, that should shake things up in this price segment. https://www.myearfun.com/headphones/earfun-wave-pro-hi-res-w…
Not on amazon au yet, but won't be long.

    Anker or Anko

    • Anko is Kmart's home brand

    • Not sure if cheeky comment about name or serious comparison to this, but I heard the Kmarts were good enough for the price?

  • Any recommendations for kids noise cancelling that would be good on a plane?

    • These? Unlike the Q20 or Q30, noise cancelling works when plugged in.

I just received mine yesterday. My kid slept with my Q45s on the plane, and these are slightly lighter.

      • Thanks. Was hoping for a size thing. Both kids are under 9 so just wondering how they will fit etc.

        • +1

I think mine was 7 when I got them, the Q45s seemed to slip a bit at the beginning but that stopped within a couple weeks so I think it was user error rather than size issue

  • I had an ill fated plantronics go810 that, no surprise, split into two. But it wasn’t comfortable for >1hr for my big ears.
This soundcore ear cup looks even smaller, wonder how I can test it.

    • Would like to know too, big head and big ears

    • +1

I had a painful pair of Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 from 2018. They had inner ear pad size of 60x35mm.

      Soundcore Q20i is 58x37mm.
      Soundcore Space One is 60x46mm.

I guess the Q35 might be somewhere in between. The Space One is the only pair of headphones I've tried in the last few years that don't hurt after wearing for a long time.

    This or Bose QC35?

    • +2

How much you want to spend? $99 or +$250?

  • I have these. I now use Bose QC45, for a budget pair these are extremely good quality and the battery last for ages. Way longer than Bose. The noise cancelling is decent, but not better than Bose. For budget, you cannot go wrong.

    • Whats the quality for calls?

  • Any headphone suggestions for Year 7 school listening? Had a cheap OW one that broke too soon. Can't figure out if the these ones would be too big for a 12-year old, or should I go for the kids' models.

  • These or JBL 760nc for $65 from OW deal?
