Not as good as the recent bing lee deal but for those that are desperate.
Delivery for me was $32 to Melbourne Metro.

Anyone have any experience with this model?
Great mopping, poor obstacle avoidance
Yes, has been great for me. Good moping, detects carpet well, is REALLY quiet compared to my old S5 Max. Navigates well.
this or l20 dreame
i went revo when it was $1279.
Is the dreame twice as better? not sure
But have a look on reddit, dreame control has been poor.
This is my 3rd roborock replacing every 4 years - They still work! i just wanted an upgrade
Dreame L20 Ultra at current price $1999 and some possible stacking with giftcards at JBseems to be a better option.
Tempting but I'm waiting for it to be under $1300 again ðŸ˜
Still waiting for the QRevo MaxV to go on sale
What's the main selling point of the max?
Edge cleaning
Edge cleaning , hot water mop, more suction, better obstacle detection, auto adding cleaner as well i think. But still tossing in between Revo max or Narwal X ultra freo. Anyone on deal will pick up .
I have pre-ordered a Migo Ascender. Its on Kickstarter and for similar price to the current Q Revo, it seems to be able to do much better including stair climbing. Ofcourse, the risk is its not reviewed and could be a total scam but I am very hopeful.
Qrevo max or the S8?
I have the QRevo MaxV after coming from Ecovacs and I love it
Which Ecovacs mate?
was the OZMO T8
Happy with my QRevo MaxV from the previously posted JB Business deal.
Which deal is that?
Been using this robovac for a few weeks.
Pros -
Sleek + easy to use app, super easy to set vac strength, mop strength, set times to go if you arn't at home, set it to do certain rooms
Mapping is very quick and for the most part very accurate, and I've noticed on subsequent uses it optimises itself e.g. it initially detected a whole corridor + a room as a single room, but now it shows them as separate "rooms"
It does a good job, I'd say 98% of the house gets vacced + mopped sans the edges or a few dust puffs here or there close to rugs, house is noticeably cleaner.
Cons -
A lot of maintenance needed to make it "autonomous" - refill water tank, empty the dirty water tank, clean the stand (this gets dirty fast). Less work than doing it all by yourself, but It isn't as hands off as you think.
Obstacle avoidance is really poor. If something is lying around, it will bump into it. It has gotten itself stuck on wires. You do need to do a preliminary sweep of the house for these obstacles so it doesn't sit stuck somewhere and lose all its battery.
No replacement parts come with the purchase, need to buy it from Amazon. I expected with such a hefty pricetag they'd at least include a few vaccum bags, replacement mops, but nope. Just one of each to function.
The most egregious one, the auto empty dust bin component jams after every clean - you can google this, it's a known issue and for some insane reason other roborock bots can empty on every mop clean while this one only does it at the end of a clean cycle, dumping a house worth of dust in 1 go and jamming itself up. Once again, less autonomy since you need to clear it out yourself after every clean.
Overall, would I recommend it? I'd say no, either go higher or go lower in price , this gets a B from me and with a 1.4k pricetag, I was expecting at least an A, if not S tier bot.
Based on your obstacle avoidance feedback, I'm leaning towards the s8!
How did you get $1399? It shows $1599 on my end :(
Good timing…
My robot is getting a bit dusty…
