Yeah maybe they restricted to 1 year for this promo. I'm in if 2 years
I'm in because I'm making money.
If you like rolling the dice, then yeah.
Did it track?
mine tracked for the 2 year plan. amount tracked is $206.99 AUD
so click on the link,
scroll down near the bottom of the page
click on See All Servers
click on Get PureVPNyou'll see the 2yr max option for $us107.95
Is this better than PIA vpn? I feel pia is slow as f
You can test it out, if not happy refund within the period
PIA got bought by a company with history making adware. Mullvad or Proton are the only two worth considering if actual privacy is a concern.
Will shopback actually pay up?
they will but delayed, it takes more than 3 months
Yeah you need to think of it like a term deposit without the tax implications.
It's still a profit/income/benefit, isn't it?
@Ulysses31: I don't think so
5 dollar term deposit 😁
And without the interest
@illusion99: The interest is 24.67% paid after three months.
@denserham: Exactly, it's literally free money
Mine tracked
Which plan did you buy?
the 2yr max $us108 plan tracked as $207
Can’t say for this one but they paid out my Nord exactly on the day it was promised
Last time was a bit delayed but they paid up eventually (102 days). The rep was helpful
Thread about it here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/832942
bought the 5-year special for $153.72 AUD (99.95 USD)
no tracking yet after 15 minutes.
How do you get to that page after clicking from shop back? Thanks.
popup
yeah I saw that, dismisses it, and it never came back :-(
@M00Cow: It's your cookies. Try clear cache or reinstall.
I had luck on my PC through chrome, added shop back extension. And clicked link everything went through. Just waiting on SB track
@Bretttick: Get tracking?
@vodamerc: I did
Does anyone have tracking for 5 year special promo? I did not have tracking with cashrewards last time.
I did, not sure if they'll decline later though
I don’t think you can get CB on that can you?
I doubt it but I gave it a crack
tracked 2 hours later for $191.65 AUD
If it doesn't track automatically, please cancel your order under 30-day refund policy. Don't ask Shopback to manually adjust it as it will almost certainly get rejected.
Reminds me of Debra, oh the horror!
Yes, I made this mistake with NordVPN. Didn't track, asked to check and then past the refund date.
Ended up paying for the whole 2 years with no cashback!
Just trying to understand why would you need this if you have free one like windscribe?
The free ones are generally pretty awful to use.
Windscribe free has a limited number of servers and lower download speeds. A lot of websites/services can detect those and block the IP address.
Thanks guys. Bought 2 year plan
afaik purevpn only has one server for sydney and (maybe) a few for melbourne and perth
Pretty sure they have a Brisbane?
bought the 5 year special, let's see if it tracks
Should track in 2 days
Cashback has successfully tracked! After about 1h.
how did you get into 5y page?
What amount?
Could someone explain to me how does this work? ive installed the program, but whats the point of this VPN if the recommended location is where i am at? and all other places have 100++ ms for me.
The recommended location will still hide your real IP address.
Dayem! I just bought the NordVPN deal a couple of weeks ago.
So?
125% you don't technically need to use it.Fact i had purevpn and their windows client was so terrible causing internet outage. I told them they'd need to pay me to use it.
These days i also use nord and it is infinitely better product than pure
Does it include add ons? Can’t see anywhere that says otherwise in the terms. Wanting to do port forwarding.
Don't know, but you can get the cost up to $600+ with addons. I'd doubt whether they'd be keen to pay 125% cashback on that much.
(edit: the past deal for this included the note "Cashback is not payable for Existing PureVPN Customers and any Add-on items")
FWIW: For those with concerns (it's a lot of money to risk) I rolled the dice last time around and got my cashback and profit. However, I did have to question why it was not approved after the stated approval date but fortunately that was the only (scary) hiccup. The cashback came through…
Did it track within the expected timeframe
Yes, it sure did, however, for some really odd reason I could not sign up to the VPN with my usual google email address. I had to use some other email provider. Never did find out why… But at least it tracked and I got my cashback.
Mine has some weird issues aswell. The cashback value kept changing not sure why, It did end up confirming though
How do you cancel auto renew on PureVPN
You can't do it yourself, you have to email support.
That's SHT.
The cancel button on subscriptions page https://my.purevpn.com/v2/dashboard/subscriptions
Just going to wait until I cash out my cashback before cancelling any renewal.
Yep
125% CB is for 1 year or two years?
Thanks opNord vs purevpn? Does pure work for Netflix
I could not get purevpn to work with any android native clients so could NOT get pure working on Google tv to use foreign netflix or my router to make it work.
It works for phone/tab/pc but what's the fun in that
purchased the 2-year plan and got tracked after 30 mins. thx op
I received tracking for the 5 year plan.
I got this one too, cross my fingers now
Mine came after 1h.. so good!
problem is tracked doesnt mean approved and we only have 30 days to get full refund, but SB approval is 90 days… so….
@CyberMurning: This… It's risky to do 5 years plan, and turns out it didn't get paid later.
Better stick with "as advertised" 2 years max plan
@OzBestDeal: actually when we click from SB we can only get one year option
@CyberMurning: Yes I notice that too, and there's no option to change it when clicking from shopback app.
I haven't tried from web browser yet. However when you click shopback cashback info, and go to deal tab, it specifically mentioned 2 years max plan with 125% cashback
2 year plan tracked in 45m
Does PureVPN have servers in each major city of Australia that you can choose from?
Australia: Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth
Got my 2 year plan tracked after 1 hour. Wish I went for the 5 year one though, damn.
Bummer. Signed up the other day for 110% cashback. 😭
Tracked for the 5 years here.
How did you get through to the 5 year plan? Direct link?
How did you track the 5 year plan through shopback?
Thanks OP, signed up for 2 year plan. Hopefully tracked.
How much were you charged? I was charged 107.95USD, however it said $3.85 per month x 24 should be 92.4USD?
GST
It's USD 107.95 for 28 months, ie 3.85 per month.
My plan expires 30 July 2026.Cheers
Tracked overnight.
Was testing downloads with PureVPN enabled and without, my speeds decrease by about half when using it.
Here is the 5 year plan offer: https://www.purevpn.com/limited-5yr
How to track through shopback?
But I'm not sure if it will be tracked if you go directly to this link after landing in their website.
Anyone know if this works in China?
I can't even see the 2 years plan! And I keep trying until I got blocked by the merchant
What's the business model here? Just hope that people never cash out? Randomly reject a % of orders for cashback after 90 days? Or just hope it auto renews and people don't cancel?
I could understand the 80-90% cashback deals, but where's the money coming from for this long term?
Sell your data.
Sell your traffic history
They can also upsell those premium stuff that the cash backs exclude payout on
ad tools, Cloud storage, password managers etc
What is the business model of these companies, how do they make money? I won't bite until I get it, admittedly I've not looked into it, but I'm sure someone there knows well…

cant see the 2 year plan with 81% off and 4 months extra.
