  • Same price at JB hi-fi

  • Thanks. Iron died just after last year's deal. Waited this long hopefully its a good iron.

Hmmm… very suspicious… have you investigated the coincidence?

      • Big iron sneaking into people's homes to sabotage their irons.

Note no manual temperature control. My wife didn't like that as iron never seemed to be hot enough for initial ironing of a garment. This is presumably to ensure it doesn't burn a garment before it has a chance to determine what fabric it should adjust its temperature to. By default it has to be at lowest temp setting otherwise it risks burning the garment.
Ended up giving it away after several months and buying a cheaper iron with manual temp control

Ironic how a more expensive iron has more limitations than a cheaper one.

    • Thanks, man. This is important info!

      Wow thanks. Just cancelled it.

    • Did you try the manual override codes?

I think I'd prefer the manual temp version , https://www.amazon.com.au/resistant-SteamGlide-Calc-Clean-DS…

    • Any recommendation for a manual iron with a calcium filter? Edit: I see there's a calc-clean slider, whatever that means.

  • Optimal temp technology .. really sucks. Don't buy.

  • I bought this on last years deal and sent it back. Terrible. The temp 'technology' suck big time. Go for a manual temp iron. Also water would just spatter out of the iron randomly.

  • Hmmm looks like those temp control issues are yet to be ironed out… 😉

Ooft. I see what you did there
