        • RIP poor you.

Are they worth it at 10 bucks?

You must be fun at parties

On the phone at 5:30 am…..on good friday……

    • Ouch

Make another 10 orders to mitigate your losses

      • +10

Think he should use all those briquettes to burn his Ozbargain license

  • +21

Thanks OP. I feel like the way that people are abusing this by placing multiple orders on different delivery days, the more likely not to be honoured.

    • +12

Yep single order for me as well. Multiple orders might kill the deal for everyone.

      • +1

There are so many professional new customers.

    • +4

hoping they just cancel the ones with multiple orders

      • +11

We are all getting cancelled because of greed. If everyone just placed one order then we would have a better chance of honoring. Now it doesn't look promising.

        • this. (not that it will make a difference, greedy people will be greedy people).

        • +3

Could argue that even placing a single order, with full realisation that the company had made an error is also greed, just to a different extent.

          • +2

@[Deactivated]: Yeah, I couldn't do it in good conscience, maybe I might rationalise it to myself if I was really poor, but I wouldn't feel good about it.

  • I tried in both Chrome and Safari and there is no box to enter the code before clicking purchase. Have they taken away the option to add code?

    • +6

At the checkout you need to expand the "show order summary" section

      • Awesome mate! Thank you.

  • No tip

    • +1

      Tip $8 to driver.

  • +6

At first, I thought “yay, free dishwasher tablets”
Now “this will definitely be cancelled”

    • I just bought 1 item. Doubt it will get honoured.

    • Well I got the shipping notification, so an unexpected win!

      • Update: nothing received yet 🤞

  • It's like an Easter egg hunt

  • Considering offices probably won't be open again until Tuesday, I am doubtful they'll honour 4 days of free orders.

Although considering that, it's also possible that warehouse will dispatch before head office opens again to pull the plug.

    • My delivery is scheduled for tomorrow

      • Yeah scheduled doesn't mean jackshit lol. But tomorrow will give you the greatest chance at it slipping under the radar.

        • Yeah sorry wasn't implying it would be delivered. Just that it was scheduled for earlier than when you said their offices would reopen.

Slight chance it might slip under the radar but I reckon there'd at least be a skeleton crew who'll cancel all these orders.

          • @werdplaya58: Ah yeah there's probably someone who will cancel it from dispatch end, because they know shit will hit the fan on Tuesday once corporate finds out. But if they are too hard pressed on efficiency, it might not get questioned too much.

  • Honour first 500 who ordered around 3am 😀

  • Thanks OP. Earliest delivery date I could get was 1st week of May!

    • +4

Just pay it, dont be cheap

its ozbargain, i am happy to be cheap, don't you worry, i got it cancelled through chat.

Inb4 the cancelled orders and the sooking people throwing the word ACCC up in the air. It never works.

    • Those poor sooky neggers are going to be so disappointed when the ACCC do nothing and I'll be here to point it out. Like I always have over the years.

Because remember people the ACCC do not investigate individual complaints. What you should do is report them to your state or territory's fair trading instead as that's what they're here for. Of course any retailer has a right to cancel "price errors" under ACL.

Of course that won't be necessary if our orders are fulfilled.

      • I mean, companies do make errors. It's up to the company if they want to take the $$$$ hit. To be fair, considering how many people placed multiple orders + free delivery it would cost them thousands of dollars. So I wouldn't personally accuse the company for anything, they don't want to go bust, and that's fair.

Last time, I don't think it was such a big damage comparing to this one

        • -1

I wouldn't be surprised if they honour the individual orders and not the people who exploited it by ordering multiple times. A lot of stores have done this.

          • -1

@Clear: That would be a nice gesture and fair outcome, in my opinion.

        • 530x20x5 = $53000

          • @sqheaven: Actual loss is a lot less - cost price of the items + shipping etc.

  • +1

Order processed and scheduled for delivery!

  • +2

I actually used this code legitimately to buy something on last Sunday. Somehow never crossed my mind to post it up here.

    • +18

Probably for the best, people on here are animals…

  • +7

I didn't buy anything for 'free' last night because I don't need anything, don't want more stuff cluttering up my place. I'll hand in my Oz bargain card.

  • -3

Got an email for the multiple orders scheduled for tomorrow processed and scheduled for delivery. No tracking sent yet.

  • Only placed 1 order but just received email confirming my order has been processed & will be delivered on the date I selected

  • -2

Is it still working ? Can't find the code place to type in!

  • +1

Just got a text saying the item I paid for is getting delivery tomorrow. Looks like I will have 10 bags of charcoal

    • Hope you tipped the change $$ x 10?

      • I paid full price. I didn't realize I had to put the code I thought it automatically deducts. I did this 10 times

        • +1

I should have been clearer when I wrote :

@altomic: Did it was 5am and when I saw this I didn't want to miss out. Doesn't matter my in-laws use coal I'll just sell it to them for $30 bag

  • +2

AO does have a history of honouring pricing errors. I'm still using this fridge in my garage.

  • +1

Just received an SMS from them that my Finish tablet will be delivered tomorrow.

  • +1

My orders delivering tomorrow. Yay hope they get the tips i sent them

  • Thanks for Broden it

  • +1

Looks like they are honouring orders

This might have been sponsored by Paypal so might be paypal that takes the loss

    • There'd be an agreement with PayPal about how the promo is run. AO stuffed up in failing to set the stated limits / conditions on the promo code e.g. new customers only, which made it open ended.

The listed exclusions don't seem to have been complied with either e.g. I used it for a Weber product. Those excluded are usually brands that prefer not to discount much.

If after all that they've then failed to cancel the orders before they send out, I think AO would probably wear the loss.

  • too late to the party, good on those who got it i guess

  • +3

My dishwashing tablets are on-board for delivery, 8:25am - 10:25am, by Pedro. I hope you enjoy the $3 tip sir :D

    • I got Pedro too, he eatin good today!! Got a few tips from me too.

  • Got my delivery! Some BBQ mitts, BBQ cleaner and a fancy bar of soap.

  • +2

Got my delivery this morning! Omo Laundry Liquid 4L for $9!

    • Wow nice one

      • You think they did a good thing?
Taking massive advantage of price errors isn't something to proud of and should never be normalised as so. Most normal people would agree, hence the downvotes.

        • Whole sessnese of ozbargain, I remember back in the day when this site was young. We all wanted to find special codes to explot sales

          • @Turd: I assume you are trying to say essence.
I still disagree with you. Especially when regarding a local Australian business.

  • +1

Also got my order of dishwashing tablets and various other bits and pieces. Delivery guy showed up looking a bit nonplussed that his almost 80 deliveries today are basically all dishwashing tablets. "The next one on my list got 30 of them!"

    • You mean someone got 30 orders?

      • Well someone above said they got 28 so I can believe someone putting in 30 orders for free dishwashing tablets…

        • Good on AO. I suprised they are entertaining that many orders for same customer.

  • Missed this :(

    • And upvoted like last time.

      • Like I explained last time, so these retailers can see what deals are popular and potentially re-offer in the future.

        • This wasn't so popular because of the offer, it was because of the mistake that allowed infinite free stuff

  • Looks like appliances online are coming through with the goods.
I'm spewing I missed this deal, nice one OP
