The Celestron AstroMaster 130EQ Reflector Telescope is currently on sale for $499.95 with free shipping (RRP $849.99 - 41% off RRP) for a limited time only. The AstroMaster 130EQ Reflector Telescope is suitable for beginners and intermediate astronomers looking for an Equatorial astronomy telescope. The German EQ mount allows you to precisely track celestial objects via the slow-motion controls once the mount has been polar-aligned. This telescope has a wide 130mm aperture, giving it a fast f/5 focal ratio, making it an excellent telescope for entry-level wide field astronomy, brighter galaxies and moon observation. It also includes the Starry Night database of 36,000 celestial objects, allowing you to learn about the night sky as you embark on your astronomy journey. Additional 2x Barlow Lenses and smaller eyepieces are recommended for planetary viewing.

    ($350.04 Off RRP)

How much is it off your normal price?

  • +4

$400 here, around $25 for shipping

      same store…

OP is trying to trick you into paying $100 more…

      • agree…OZB must take down this post because it is grossly misleading and deceptive into making OZB patrons paying $100 more.

Hi There! Shipping costs vary depending on where customers are located. So, in come cases eBay is cheaper.

      • mate even Alice Springs postage is $96.55 Making it $496.50 on your actual website.

if.you were smart you would have posted your own website price (399.95+postage from $22), note that some people might get it cheaper with postage/discounts via your eBay store.

Then kick some of you competitors by quoting their $500+ pricing.

Then it looks like your helping your customers by giving them the best deal.

Thanks for this. Also negging for presenting jacking as a bargain.

By the way, the normal price this store are selling this for is $549.95

    https://web.archive.org/web/20220122114043/https://www.optic…

    So it is not a $350/$450 saving…

Their strikethrough 'RRP' is all over the place too, so hardly credible…

Should be reported to ACCC for deceptive and misleading price comparisons…

Negged for the deceptive and misleading price comparisons.

    • Good observation! Celestron manufacturer RRP has greatly changed over the years and we follow their RRP accordingly as an authorised dealer. However, as seen in your screenshot from over 2 years ago our price is better than it was despite cost price increases which has resulted in the RRP changes. Inflation influences all industries and telescopes is no exception. But you will see our price is by far the cheapest on the market.

Is this good enough for observation 3 body people?

    • +1

      3 body people?

Not if you are too close… They won't fit in the field of view.

OP is posting an Optical Illusion, not a bargain…

  • CE as above. Nice Try OP.

  • What will this reflector telescope do better then the $130 National Geographic reflector telescope that comes on sale at ALDI quite regularly?
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/716167

    • Hi there! Yes, it will be brighter than the National Geographic model as the aperture is 130mm. This will allow you to view deep space objects and the moon much more clearly and with a lot more detail.
