      Just place it under your keyboard, and it should still have plenty of space left to use it as a regular mouse pad.

      These are especially great with mechanical keyboards, as they can help reduce a lot of the twang or "ping" sound you might otherwise get.

    These are pretty good quality. Had some for about a year and the ones my 9 and 4 year olds were using were pretty gunky, have washed them and dried and they're like new again.

    May get one just for the novelty side of it. Probably won't use it as desk mats can change the typing experience of mechanical keyboards (may sound and feel different, can be subtle and not practically noticeable).
