Catch Connect $150 for 180GB for the first year is better if you don't need international calls and want more data for cheaper.

      Yep.

Price raise, use to be $99 deal.. Catch is better value.

$99 for 60GB. This is 140. Catch is not better if you need o/seas calling. Horses for courses.

Price used to be $120 when on sale, which is much closer to the mark.

        Coles inflation running at 33%

I'm sick of unjustified price rises that don't result in supermarket CEOs getting handcuffed.

        • ACCC is on to them (Woolies and Coles) see if anything come out of it.

        • CE’s leave with golden parachutes proportional to level of their incompetence - any CEO worth his salt ensures that’s stipulated in his/her contract.

Pretty sure you’ll find their supplier Floptus has raised their prices for these services - so they’re just passing it on

  • https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/834904 still seems a lot better?

      If you like Vodafail

      • I’ve been on Voda for 10+ years. Never a single issue. Just reviewed my plans recently and realised I am being robbed. Likely will go to the Lebara year long prepaid. Fits my usage and will save me an absolute bucket load on three numbers.

Asked Optus for a price match and their suggestion was a $99/month lock-in contract. Blimey!

  • Coles Mobile is powered by the Optus 4G mobile network.

    • Yes, that's why I mentioned it in the description.

      • 4G is not there!
I am searching for 5G plans.
        Thanks

          Aus don’t have real 5G

          • @code187: interesting, can you elaborate please?

            • +1

@GeoK: Aus uses the lowest band of the 5G spectrum which is just a bit faster than 4G.

It’s like saying HFC nbn vs Fiber

  • Does anyone know if you currently have a Coles service what the best way to utilise these promotions are? My current 12 month credit is coming up for expiry soon. Do i just port out for a day and port back in with the same number and be eligible for this? Im pretty sure i paid $120 for my service almost 12 months ago and now the recharge amount is $195. Thats a ridiculous increase.

    • It's a different plan. The $120 was for 60GB. This was 140. You will get grandfathered in at the old price, I just did this week.

  • Is anyone on an existing plan? I tried to get the 20% discount upon renewal but I don't see it coming through.

    Has anyone had any luck?

    • +1

The discontinued plans don't get the 20% discount anymore.
