For what it’s worth, used a7iiis are showing up on Marketplace for $1000-$1500 these days. I know this is new, and there’s warranty benefits and all that, but there are big savings to be had if you don’t mind a scuff or two!
I am going to sell mine shortly with accessories. Will miss it. Having owned so many cameras, just one of those models where for the price it has all the features amateur photographers can grow into and yet still no reach the limit. Nikon D300s, Canon 6D (for $ value) are some of the others.

There was an A7C II deal for like $2650 posted the other day. That camera is leagues ahead of the A7III and well worth the extra ~$450.
Got this 1 or 2 years ago and it was $1400 from Sony official after all discounts and cashback.
