Can still use EVO plus cards but I agree better to use their Pro Endurance cards.
Not really. I've been using an Evo card for 6years.
You should be refreshing your storage devices and formatting them periodically anyway if it were so critical. So buying high endurance cards is contradictory and a waste of money.
Just because you've been lucky doesn't mean it's the right choice haha
Exactly. I have used EVO cards in dash cams for a few years, some working fine, others have intermittent stoppage in recording. Pro Endurance cards just have lesser chance of stoppage.
I got 4 Evo cards in security cameras 4-5 years ago and only 1 failed so far.
I only record motions instead of 24/7 though.@mrgeckoz: 25% failure rate is quite large, especially for motion only recording.
Supposably Samsung Evo cards don't work with Tapo cameras. Has anyone had any luck with compatibility with C210?
They work fine, I have 128gb Evo cards in our C210 and they work without issues. We only record motion but one of the cameras is at the water fountain for the cats and points towards the back door so is going off all day. Would absolutely buy again!
Same price at TTG and Bing Lee if you're after local stock
I think you mean The Good Guys
Also available at Officeworks for $8
Good price but I'd prefer freebie from JB. This card is handy if you play retro games on a handheld device.
Freebies from JB?
They can't price match - as this is a A1 product which is "different" to JB Hi Fi lol
Seeing your reply I just checked the 'freebie' I picked up from JB and on the surface of the card it has exactly the same logos as this one, including A1.
Good for Miyoo Mini?
Exactly how I used it on mine.
$53.50 for the 512gb seems a good price.
It is per GB.
Problem is when you need 2 cards and you can't split 512gb into 2x 256gb etc.
Better get this one for $1 more then
https://www.amazon.com.au/SAMSUNG-microSD-MicroSDXC-MB-MD512…Are these high endurance cards?
No.
I dont' know man 64gb sd cards seems too small these days. even for things like retro pie I would still go min 128gb.
Good deal on time. Thank you.
good one! Looking at getting another ReoLink camera so will need an SD card
I realise its not an endurance model but for $8…… https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:640/format:webp/1*qC0o…
Are these as good as the sandisk ultra plus?
And is it compatible with use on a DSLR camera?Hey I was wanting to get sd card and found this https://amzn.asia/d/buYH86Y would this be good for 4 Reolink camera on motion detection only
512GB for $59.50 😱
You would need the high endurance ones for the security cameras. These are not going to last for frequent or constant writing. Still a good deal tho.
