these experience rare ble packet drops, hopefully will be fixed in firmware update.
Seems like Amazon is matching The Good Guys
Just a heads up for anyone buying these, Bose are incredibly misleading with their marketing for Aptx Audio!
Purchased these after my Sennheiser MTW 3 died because they were meant to support Aptx Lossless and snapdragon sound, but it's only supported by select Android devices. You end up only with the AAC codec if your device is unsupported and connection can be iffy.
I'm assuming if your device does not have the AptX capability on board then of course the earbuds can't use it?
Or did you mean something else?
It's very bizarre, but essentially Bose partnered with Qualcomm to enable "Snapdragon Sound" on select devices. Because this is Aptx Adapative and not Aptx Loseless or even HD, it's unsupported by most devices, including Samsungs, Pixels, etc.
I recently purchased another Snapdragon Sound supported earbuds, the Soundpeats Air 4 pro, and they work perfectly fine with Aptx enabled on my Pixel 8 Pro.
It's really obscure and odd that they've gone this route, but as a further reference point, here's a list of phones that are supported:
No multipoint connections are a deal-breaker for me which sucks cause I want these bad
its "coming this year" as per cnet
Just like AptX was coming to the QuietComfort Earbuds II in a future firmware update. Crickets there…
Apparently not too much difference between these and the QC2s, which is a 100 dollar difference between this and the other post a few days ago.
showing 382 here for me, am I missing something here ?
How are these rated against Apple AirPods Pro
