Cheaper here
This price seems standard as well. Scroptec is $149.
$20 shipping for me with MyITHub, so Amazon is cheaper.
looks like the 2.5gbe is new standard and maybe the price can going lower like $120ish this year.
Free shipping from Amazon if you have prime and one day delivery.
one day delivery
Maybe for some areas.
How loud is this thing? I have a 24 port TP-Link switch and it sounds like a screaming banshee at idle.
Some thing is a miss because the 24 port switch is fanless. Specs say fanless so there should be no noise. Some thing is faulty.
I think this has no fan.
Could be the power brick. I've got some seagate power supplies like that.
Could also be some form of coil whine inside the switch itself.
Specifications page linked say Fanless.
I have one, it's fanless.
Change the fan(s) to something like this

For about this price, you can get a 8 port managed switch from aliexpress with a 10G SFP+ socket for your NAS/daisy chain other switches (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005943823096.html).
If you don't need the extra features, then go for the tp-link - amazon return/refund process is 100x better than aliexpress.
The Link Aggregation is what I was looking for, my NAS has two 2.5G ports. But then I learned that for a single client it does not double the bandwidth. And I relaxed.
Am I missing something? I purchased this from wireless1 eBay for $119 delivered with a $10 off voucher a while back.
EDIT: Looks like the link I posted is no longer available and prices have been jacked recently.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/265053943966?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…
that link re-directs for me to buy what I think is the same device, at $148.85, from Harris Technology, free delivery, and a "take $7.44 off this item"
So, cheaper by about $7 from the OP
Nah it's the link to the wireless1 link that i bought but is now OOS so it redirects to something similar.
I posted this before realising that the it was OOS on wireless1.
How do I know if an ethernet switch reduces the speeds of devices connected to it? I have a TP-link ethernet switch and it slows those connected devices by about a half on my 1gbps plan.
Maybe Amazon have substituted the link after selling out??
Now says sold by PCLIVE and shipped by PCLIVE.
