Seems like a rather low price for 15kg of hardwood firewood !
Couldn't find this particular listing for more information as the Bunnings website just reports 404 , will suggest this is a clearance product,

I kid you not - my neighbor (brisbane) fired up his outdoor log burner on Saturday night because we dropped below 27deg π€£
we're all struggling

In Bright Vic paying $22 for 15kg or Red Gum, this is a bargain.
I remember 30 years ago you could get an entire trailer of redwood delivered for like $25.
My last trailer (tonne) of redgum was $530
We did have to chop it ourselves though. And they wouldn't even stack it, just dump it on the driveway. My god I don't miss it, the stack would get full of spiders and stuff.
@AustriaBargain: That's still the way today, then - dump it out on the ground.
Redgum is a lot better than hardwood though. Still a good deal.
Edit: this was meant to be for @eggaz
Have you tried burning it?
Weird coincidence but before I saw these appear in local bunnings, I bought some wood from a guy in Darra and he had loaded it into these scandia bags. I wonder if he supplies bunnigns?
Anyway worst firewood I've bought in a long time. Not dried well at all, produced heaps of smoke
Well it does say it's seasoned π
So did the guy I bought it from, anyway curious to see how it goes!
Last few bags I got from bunnings was terrible
Always use a moisture meter. They are a cheaper buy and worth itβs weight in gold.
Any tips on a decent unit (bargain)?
tbh i dont think you can go wrong. Stab it into the timber (freshly split is best as the outside is in the weather and normally air dried).
Firesale!
Can anyone confirm at other bunnings location?
perfect for qld summer

Chop 'n dop
Hou my brannas vas en check die move!
Goes well currently with those sub 28c nights in Brisbane π
