must make some crazy margins on these

      • Well, most AIOs in the market come from Astek. This includes Asus's hence the crazy margin. Essentially, people are just buying for the extras these manufacturers add to the AIO. This is why lots of AIO enthusiasts go for EKWB or Artics as their designs are developed in house.

It’s an okay deal at this price but I just wanna comment on Asus top end AIOs. The real nonsense products in ASUS’s cooling lineup are the Ryujin series and PA420 that use Noctua’s IPPC fans. I really don’t understand what ASUS’s product managers were thinking. With something as good as the A12x25, they chose to stuff it into graphics cards, and their flagship water cooling has been clinging to the F12 IPPC for three generations now. The IPPC series is notorious for its air-raid siren-like motor noise. The 2023 new version of the Ryujin F12 IPPC2000 even stealthily switched from a three-phase motor to a cheaper sleeve motor. The A14 IPPC is even more ridiculous than the F12 IPPC; while the F12 could be somewhat justified by its high static pressure, the A14 has neither high airflow nor high static pressure, and it’s just as noisy. So if I were you, I will replace the fans asap.

    • How about ARGB fans on the Ryujin Cooling, are they bad?

99% of the RGB fans are almost the same quality so if you opting for RGB not much difference because most of them gonna use the cheap PC material so that RGB can look better.
For RGB fans using on rads, I recommend either cooler master SickleFlow or Mobius. At least their blades are strong enough unlike most of the soft plastic used on the other RGB fans.
Note that there has been reports of bad bearing from the SickleFlow model so make sure if you double check them after purchase.
And also don’t get fooled by the Mobius OC fans, they are also garbage.

  • kinda weird how the non rgb doesn't come with AM5 socket support but the ARGB one is

    • AM5 uses the same mounting as AM4.

      • oh nice, good to know
