Says -47% off RRP, but the usual price is usually around $200, so $128 is not too bad.
Released in 1991 and still is a good set of studio headphones in 21st century.
There are many decent competitors, like Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x, Grado Labs SR60e, but if you want Sony, then get them.
Pros:
* Good sound
* Solid cable
* Price
* Plenty of good custom ear pads
* Amazon listing says "1 Unknown batteries required", "Battery type: Lithium", "Colour Screen: No", "Standing screen display size: 2.4 Inches"
Cons:
* Cable is heavy and becomes a mess in few years
* Not super comfortable if planning to use them for few hours
Maybe not a pro for anyone just looking for decent headphones, but these and MDR-V6 get mega style points! Wonder how many productions they've been used for.
