      Same here
It worked on the previous $45 deal but not this one :(

  • Experts, do you need to activate these in the same name you purchase to receive the cash back or can you activate in other names?

    • Other name is fine. It worked for me in the past.

  • something
    went
    wrong

    • +1

Yeah their site seems to be having issues checking out right now. I don;t usually have issues but right now am getting
SORRY, SOMETHING WENT WRONG We’re sorry but we’re experiencing technical issues. Please try again later.

Probably too many OZB on at the same time!

UPDATE: I tried again a min later and was fine.

      • Oh my, I was going to curse you for false hope. I tried this morning and tried again just now and got the error. Then tried "one last time" and it worked!!

  • +1

Question, am I able to get multiple cashbacks if I make multiple orders under the same name/address? Or will it only track on per account?

    • +2

Multiple's are fine under one account BUT need to be made as separate transactions.
See the: Special notes from store in OP.

  • +1

Completed my order an hour ago and just received the tracking email.
    Thanks OP.

  • does revolut virtual card work?

  • HI All,

Sorry this might get lost in the thread but I'm looking to reduce my Telstra bill and looking for cheaper mobile plan options. So stumbled across Boost after considering Woolies Everyday and Aldi, etc.. I am just after some reassurance before I take the plunge. Haven't changed Service in a good while.

    • Currently on Telstra plan $65/month. Have Essentials NBN internet plan associated with it too (not sure if that'll impact anything).
    • I'm using a Google Pixel 5 currently
    • I like having the 5G option
    • Not a heavy mobile data user (Pre edit I thought I would check the data meter on my phone and seems like I use 50GB between FB and Insta….sheesh considering I thought I used Wi-Fi most the time this has floored me)
    • Live in Victoria 3226 so kind of rural so keen on having decent coverage especially if I do any adventuring. Our house is right on edge of tower and get average coverage and most calls are via WiFi boost (whatever it is called).
    • Haven't considered Boost in ages but I have been looking at the Telstra Network vs Wholesale coverage on here > WhistleOut Boost has better coverage vs Aldi/Woolies/Belong Wholesale coverage.

Can I just port my number across and get on the $35 (now $12) 45GB plan and experience a similar level of service? I'm happy to reduce my mobile data usage as spend too much time anyways. I'm more concerned with the coverage TBH. If I lived more in a city I would care less, but really don't want to have reduced coverage.

Any helpful advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Can you give me a TLDR?

      • Sure - is this TLDR enough?

        I like having the 5G
Live in Victoria 3226 so kind of rural so keen on having decent coverage (I don't want to use Optus or Vodafone)
Can I just port my number across from Telstra and get on the $35 (now $12) 45GB plan and experience a similar level of service? I'm more concerned with the coverage TBH.

        • My understanding is they're identical, they use the same towers and with Boost you can access all the towers you'd access with Telstra.

    • +1

@PleasureMachine I'm with Telstra and have had Boost in a spare phone and had compared side by side in Perth metro. They were similar but not idential. Telstra appears to be superior and more stable with internet connection. Boost occasionally dropped out and had no connection for a few minutes. Boost would be the closest match to Telstra's coverage as you mentioned.

      • Were your phones the same model? Different phones have different radios.

        • +1

          Unfortunately not the same model

  • Bought at 9. Still not tracked yet……

  • 6 sim card per address. Nice. $36 profit

  • +1

Received a ShopBack tracking confirmation after less than 20 minutes.

  • Just bought 2. I'm guessing I can effectively use this for 2 months if I port out and activate the second one before 30 days?

  • -1

So if you don't activate within 30 days your cashback gets rejected? Or once it's tracked it'll pay out regardless of when it's activated.

    • Read the OP…….and the "Special notes from store" part. :—)

      • -1

I'm aware of what it says, my questions still stand.

        • If you don't activate within 30 days, it will give shopback a reason to reject your cashback even after it is tracked

Or once it's tracked it'll pay out regardless of when it's activated.

          Definitely not this

          • -1

@CodeXD: There have been numerous reports of people not activating within the 30 days and still getting their cashbacks. I'm just wondering if they're still not checking

            • +3

@Mike444: Doesn't matter, if they weren't checking before they could start checking any time. So if you don't activate within the 30 days you do so at your own risk.

            • +1

@Mike444: Even if it is still the case, cashback sites as promoters, won't say it or confirm it for you in this way for obvious reasons.

              One said it here.

Anyone else getting from boost website “ sorry we have technical difficulties try again later”? After inputting CC details

    • Change address manually change the characters and use a different card solved.

    • +1

I had this earlier today but left it a minute and then resubmitted and went through fine. I put it down to their systems being busy.

    • +1

Yes started having that issue now, no problems this morning.

Edit: Different CC worked for me…..

  • wondering why is this popular amongst existing boost customers? is it worth having to port out and then port back in every 28 days per sim purchased? cheapest way being to buy a physical sim from aldi?

  • Got 6 lol

  • Got 6, all tracked!

  • Got 6 as well, tracked with ~20 mins

  • Got something went wrong on my 3 rd order for me. First two were for my wife and on detains. However, mine got stuck

  • Got 20. Got blocked many times. Need to change private mode a few time. Then email got blocked. Change a new one then can place order again.

    • +1

I thought private mode stops cashback?

      • No. I open in private mode then log in SB/CR to buy.

  • +3

    @everyone

I’ve received confirmation that November Boost Cashrewards cashbacks are now approved, provided that you have met the T&Cs

    • Got mine too. Cash out 370. Noice💰

      • Wow that's like 20 sim cards

    • Yep just got mine.

    • +1

Cash-out over due, not approved yet. Refer back to your "struggling" word above. Anyone's status turned "PAID"?

      • +1

Same here. Estimated approval for withdrawal was meant to be on 7 Feb

        • +1

Likewise. Normally get my withdrawal land in my bank within 2 business days but not his one.

      • +1

Status turned to PAID today, so far not landed in my account yet (that tends to happen after 6pm).

      • +1

And finally landed in my account this evening.

    • Just got my $16.50 cashback. Only bought one SIM card but something wrong from then onwards

  • Has anyone's order been shipped yet?
    Mine still hasn't been shipped

    • +1

MIne arrived on Friday (Sydney) (no shipping notification this time around, it just arrived)

    • I ordered 6. Received one the day after. 4 the day after that, and 1 today.

      • Ordered 2. One arrived today, but other one still hasn't arrived.

Should i just wait a little longer?

        • Yeah, They are usually very fast but I think last time it took a week or more.

  • @gotyourback - mate, I have raised a missing cashback for this one. Should I wait until it shows 'Tracking' or should I activate the number? What if SB denies cashback after number activation ? Treading very carefully since my Ebay plus cashback issue.

    • +1

Hey mate, sorry I missed your comment! I'm not 100% sure how activation works on the Boost side, but I can assist if you have any issues with your claim with our team, so do stay in touch if you need me to chase anything up for you here. I do know that for Cashback to validated by Boost the number needs to be activated within 30 days of purchasing, if you don't have the claim resolved when approaching this date, let me know and I'll do what I can to get this chased up.

  • +1

I ordered at Feb 6, but still not received the SIM, Anyone received the SIM yet

    • Read just a few posts up!

      • yes, I just read that, the confusion part is

I check thru boost mobile facebook msg channel, they said it has been delivered
they asked me to check Post Office with tracking code, the status is delivered at Feb 8
I called the boost hotline, they said it is not delivered yet

        very confusing ….

        • Worst case, they can cancel it and refund you if it doesn't show up. They can also provide you with a Auspost tracking number as they keep a record.
DON'T accept a replacement (which they may offer to send) as you would not get the cashback and then be out of pocket.

    • Same boat, did you get anywhere? I’m on very limited internet at the moment because the boost sim was supposed to have arrived by now.

      • Not yet, I think Boost mess up may be too many order, As I ordered at Feb 6, the tracking code mark delivered at Feb 8, it doesn't seems make sense

        Anyway
        - I log a ticket to Aus Post yesterday to check against the tracking code, pending response
        - Boost Hotline ask me to wait for another 10 business day and call back if still not received

        • I managed to chat with them just then. They didn’t give me anything on what’s going on with their system, but my packs arrived yesterday and were sitting in my mailbox. There was no dispatch emails or anything. Highly unusual, someone’s in trouble for sure. I hope it works out for you. Worst case is activate them via chat as esims before the 30-day cashback window ends.

          • @Alley Cat: They don't always send notifications when sent or tracking info. That has always been hit and miss and even their own support don't understand the cause as the info is created on their systems but just not always sent to customers!.

            • @Borg: That’s the first time for me lol Doesn’t sound like they know what they are doing, guess that’s why their charity department is still running for us plebs 😅
