I'd been keeping an eye on Clear's deal posts trying to find a ~14" 1440p or higher monitor to use as a second display for a laptop on the go, ended up buying one of these a couple of weeks ago for $160. I've been running it with 200%/retina scaling on both a windows and mac laptop as it ends up matching the built in displays pretty well. For those who are more patient than I was it's now dropped by ~AU$10 and you can make use of the choiceday8 coupon to get another ~AU$12 off.

Unlike the monitor in the linked deal this has no touchscreen functionality. However I reckon the smaller size makes it a great monitor to take along with 14" laptops. It has the same shell style as the linked monitor with a built in stand and two threaded holes with 75mm spacing for use with any 75mm wide VESA mount, could be useful if you want to install it on a monitor arm or dedicated stand.
