They take us for fools because they can. Nothing, absolutely nothing is happening so we'd have these prices that we do, everyone's on the bandwagon of the "global situation" there's no situation, it's just money milking.

Now they're having an inquiry about Woolworths/Coles.

What does enquiry mean? Nothing ZERO!

Can't do anything to them, won't do anything to them because they're same 💩 and 💩 won't eat 💩.

Are they gonna punish them, no, make them lower prices, no. They're just gonna…. Send them in writing recommended changes!
      😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣

Do they have to make changes? NO!
      😂😂😅😅😂🤣😅😅😅😅😅

This country is an absolute laughing stock, a complete joke, circus, run from outside, nothing in Australia is actually decided by politicians in Australia. That's why you see absolutely the same CLONED things happening in other western countries, one after each other, same 💩 passed onto us the disposables, peasants.

      • I feel this rant with gusto.

Everything I look at my old orders I get unreasonable mad.

Double or even triple the price.

Fish oil capsules from 2019/2020 are now inexplicably $120+ when they were $40.

People will just stop shopping altogether at some point. They can all rot.

    • The AUD did devalue 15% against the USD from then to now, though. Plus 3 yrs inflation. I think you need a more recent price to say it's been jacked up for the sale.

      • It's not just for the sale. The prices are always jacked, to the point that even amazon is cheaper for a lot of stuff. For sales they just double-jack. Iherb has no serious competition so they get away with it.

        • What do you mean "even Amazon"? That's their main competitor! What are you comparing with? If you say their prices are "always jacked up," then they're not "jacked up"; they're just expensive. But I do always compare them with other online stores — they're far, far from being a monopoly — and don't find such big discrepancy (only on my multi, Whole Earth & Sea, which is cheaper at a local health store on their once a month sale). Other than that, Chemist Warehouse is of course cheaper for more basic items.

          • @wisdomtooth:

y multi, Whole Earth & Sea

No offense but your multi is a waste of money and no, iHerb has no competitors. Vitacost is the closest thing to one but shipping to Australia makes it uncompetitive. Australian stores are utter garbage.

            • @umexcuseme:

No offense but your multi is a waste of money

None taken. Why do think that? Are you on the "vitamins are expensive wee" camp?

              • @wisdomtooth: Not at all, vitamins can be a powerful tool, it's just that multis don't have enough in them to do much.

  • Has shopback bern banned,?

    • Yeah, I noticed the removal of their Cashback on various deals then found the Rep seemed to be banned for sockpuppeting

This store is currently BANNED from store representative posts.
Reason: Sockpuppeting (Rep only) (Deals only) Expiry: 07/02/2024 - 17:17

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/shopback.com.au

Not sure what deal though, it's probably removed now.
