Have found these to always be inferior to buying them from the supermarket. They must be old stock or sitting in the sun or something else as they are no where near as effective as ones from the supermarket. Get stuck in the tablet holder, don't dissolve and leave streaks / residue on dishes.

Not worth the savings in my opinion

    • That is good to know

    • It’s $43.25 on Milkrun app. Use coupon code HERES10 to bring it down to $33.25, if you want to buy from woolies.

I had the same issues with the 17 packs from Amazon - maybe 2-3 out of each bag just didn't dissolve properly.

Also, I really wish Finish would standardise/simplify their naming scheme.

      • Preach, although they seem to have in Australia to an extent - where it gets confusing is some of the packs you see for sale online and in dollar stores are either old stock or have been brought in from overseas where the same products can have different names and packaging for marketing reasons. Here there is now only the one "Quantum" version (Quantum essential - https://www.finishinfo.com.au/products/), but you can buy things like Quantum Max, Quantum Ultimate, Quantum Ultimate Pro, etc - which may be fine but may also be old stock (hence sometimes variable issues with cleaning as, for example, during shipping or storage the product might have got moisture inside the packaging causing it to harden and then maybe not dissolve as well as it should).

      • Agreed
Currently on ultimate pro. Don’t know where that sits in the pecking order. Need to keep up and show off if they’re elite but unsure

        • I think the Ultimate Pro is like the Ultimate all in one but with maybe a little bit more 'sparkle' additive and/or a little better at removing dried on stains. The next step is possibly the Ultimate Plus Material Care that is maybe a little better again on shorter cycles. The actual differences between them seem fairly vague and full of marketing-speak, so frankly once you get to the first Ultimate I'm suspecting the only major improvement would be if it could put the dishes away afterwards.

As an aside, Finish Ultimate Pro includes Activelift technology, which with a quick search I found that Upbra (https://www.upbra.com/sec_how-it-works.htm) has registered that for cleavage-control straps a number of years ago. Might explain why Finish abandoned the trademark application. https://trademarks.justia.com/905/54/activelift-90554939.htm…

    • Made in a different location?

  • nice, was running low on supplies. never had any issues with them and they work great

  • How are these vs Aldi Logix Platinum?

  • Been using a bag of Fairy but have noticed they leave a bit too much "after wash soapy taste", even after a basic water rinse cycle after.
Do current day Finish tabs have a similar thing?

    • It seems to depend on the dishwasher, its operating condition, mode used, and your local water hardness levels as well I'd assume. I.e. pods that worked well at home did not perform the same in a holiday rentals unit, which most of the time comes with crappy ones that seem to work well enough oddly enough.

They also seem to vary between batches as others here have noted.
