  • What's the audio quality like, compared to commercial FM stations?

    • Not sure about the quality it’s for a friend to play music in his 2004 Toyota.

Don't have this specifically but the quality is dependent on the audio source itself.

Sounds as if you're playing Bluetooth to the car's audio. Sometimes gets fuzzy if you're tuned to a certain frequency and drive past somewhere broadcasting on something similar.

I've been using FM tuners for over 10 years now in multiple cars. Maybe one day I'll get a car with built in Bluetooth lol

      • I have an older model. Mine plays up from time to time. For $8.50 it's worthwhile seeing if this makes a difference. Can always do with a spare one.

    • On the Bluetooth audio side, it will depend on the Bluetooth profile and audio codec that is negotiated between the devices. On the FM radio side, the audio quality will depend on the received radio signal strength.

I bought one a couple of days ago and it arrived today, the sound quality is as good as FM radio, i was using USB memory stick with MP3 320kb, has USB slot on one side and card slot on other side. Also came with 3.5mm audio cable, didn’t try bluetooth.
If using the USB you want a short memory stick as the USB is on the driver side and sticks out a bit, or use the card slot. Says 32GB max , i used 64GB USB and formatted as FAT and worked fine, make sure it’s formatted as FAT.

      • Thanks

Was wondering what the extra USB and SD card slot was for.

I heard tesla needs data connection for radio. This will be deal for those I guess

Great price, I bought one for $20+ as well and gave it to the folks to use in their car. Just be warned that the display screen is annoyingly bright so I had to turn it facing away esp at night

  • and it's gone :(

    • Not as cheap but kmart and big w have similar for $15

      • I doubt it would be the same quality
