Are these any good for subs?
    Asking for a friend.

    • Subs?

        Subway.

If your talking about remote controlling a submraine, yes i think its more reliable than the logitech one for rich people, just use it cabled rather than wireless to be sure

If you can also grab a set of laser pistols for the crew as a back up plan, you are rock solid

Joke was so bad the dude deleted his OzB account

      • Asking for a friend

Actually he tried on himself then… poof… dissapeared.

  • Better than the pro controller! Awesome controller

General consensus is that it is not better at all; it has the convenience of the dock charger but anyone who plays at a high level isn't using this over the Pro.

General consensus from who? Pro Controller doesn't have hall-effect sticks (hello stick drift!) or back buttons (e.g. allowing simultaneous sprint + camera control in Zelda) or a 2.4Ghz connection option (lower input latency than bluetooth). What is it about the Pro Controller that makes it better for "high level" play (what does that even mean?), in your opinion? Nothing wrong with preferring the Pro Controller of course, to each their own, just genuinely curious

    Love this use it daily,

    Pros
    - holosense sticks
    - nintendo switch
    - programable buttons
    - wireless
    - dock
    - good classsic dpad

    Cons

    • buttons are printed in nitnedo mapping (if used to xbox)

    • triggers not as good as xbox one

    • not xbox mapping for bluetooth (does pair but a little funny)

    • shape can be a little awkward depending on preference, feels simmilar to xbox one but big

    • Overall well worth it, unlesd your more car game focussed, the triggers on the xbox are better In my opinion

ugh I hate the Nintendo mapping.

  • Why does it say the brand is “Bronal”?

I'm getting weird vibes from this store. Just like @Easy Money says, a few more dollars from the official store for peace of mind

Thats the 2.4ghz version not the "bluetooth". They are different

  • So can use this for PC games in laptop?

  • Love this controller for the Switch.

You can also get the new Ultimate C Bluetooth for only $30USD delivered here https://shop.8bitdo.com/products/8bitdo-ultimate-c-bluetooth… if you'll only be using it with a switch.

I believe the only difference are the colours, no 2.4Ghz mode, and digital triggers instead of analog.

I don’t think the ultimate-c version has Hall effect sensors either

  • Got one, thanks.

FYI, the same controller direct from 8BitDo store is going for a few dollars more $78.96(black & white available)

  • Does this feel in the hand like a Switch Controller Pro or like an Xbox One controller?

Are the buttons clicky like the xbone or soft membrane like the switch?

    • Sort of in between, leaning more towards the Switch? I would say I marginally prefer the Xbox One controller, ergnomically. Face button feel is effectively identical to the Xbox controller.

I'm in OzBargainer hell, I bought one of these on Friday afternoon for $88 and it's shipped already and not going to be delivered today. Too much mucking around to repurchase and return.

  • I regret buying mine.
Main grievance is that the bluetooth continuously cuts out when connected to my switch.

As for compatibility, I think the Pro 2 is better for most people.

  • Do these support Amibo on the Switch?
