I currently have the Dark Rock Pro 4, but this cooler (non argb) was my alternative. Definitely looks good with the display and the argb, if I personally needed a new cooler, I would get this one

Not comparable. The selling point of this is the rgb and lcd with temperature
Instead of providing the lowest temps? That's just insane.
by how many degrees exactly? 1 or 2?
Do people really still air cool? :O
I was using an aio until it broke or pump jammed. Air cooling is much more reliable imo, and they last longer
most people do. there are many top end air coolers that are better than low/mid aio
Your not going to eek out much more fps or citrix windows with an AIO compared to this on a 7800x3d. Plus this is more reliable.
with enough airflow and the right case, aircool is quieter and can cool better than watercool. it is also more energy efficient and does not have risk of leakage
Yea the current air cooler in using from be quiet is actually very quiet even has max speeds, quieter than my old aio possibly
Air cooling is for the gods
I use AK620 without lcd display for my 13900k, one of my friends also got a similar system.
I never buy WC, currently on 5900X and air, the trick is to lower the room temp and that's when you get better cooling.
My AC unit is prolly 2 meters away from my PC intake, but it blows cool air in front of the intake of the PC.
Also remember to clean your filters, that makes a diff.I am using this cooler for the 7800x3d overclocked to 4.9 GHz. Temperature is around 72c when playing games. Not too bad for an air cooler and definitely am staying away from AIO because I have had 3 failed pumps (highend Corsair AIO coolers)
Building a new PC atm! I like the look of this cooler but ended up with a Phantom Spirit as was trying to save some $
Side note any recs on best software to check CPU/GPU temps nowadays?hwmonitor or hwinfo64
msi afterburner for gpu if you have ryzen cpu then use ryzen master
I got plain black, no display AK620 for $88 back then, looks like this is an improved version. so good price
When I was in the market before the AK620 were going for more than this version
yeah, normal version was $99 back then and I got it from a previous deal at CentreCom.
Now it is $85 https://www.centrecom.com.au/deepcool-ak620-cpu-cooler
I am using AK620 for 288W limited and it does a perfect job :D
If you have the space to fit, the Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE is a better deal at under $50 though.
