I don't know if these songs are any good but it all goes to a good cause. If the songs are no good just delete them immediately, but you would have still raised $1 for the NBCF.

I also read your final point - that our system is "crazy".
Please explain… my misunderstandings. Am happy to learn about others systems like Gift Aid.
I never used the Gift Aid system as I wasn't paying tax in UK, just had it explained to me by so many charities when I gave donations there. Took up a lot of their time, and mine.
Gift Aid seemed a more complex process than Australian system, where you know full amount of your donation & just keep donation receipts, then include total amount in tax return to reduce your tax. Aussies love a reduction in tax payment & any incentive to give helps charities.
The fact that charities in the UK need to spend time explaining that Government's system, filling & lodging forms, compared to an Aussie collector saying "Donations (of $2 or more) are tax deductible" - does tend to indicate the difference in complexity for those donating!
The outcome is the same - the respective Governments forego the income tax on the earnings that generated the donation (but only after filling out paperwork in the UK).
Although our tax system can be confusing - the reduction in tax paid in earning a donation is one of the simpler areas - easier to understand than the UK system I tried to understand, but still obviously don't.
