The Japan Times are having their usual holiday sale and are offering a monthly Premium Subscription for JPY¥1,600 (~A$16.50) per month, for life (pay monthly at this rate for as long as you are subscribed). This was previously offered during their Spring Sale and Black Friday Sale.

It seems that they have a 30% sale on their annual Premium Subscription as well but subscribing month by month with this offer is cheaper and more flexible.
