I've got the belt drive Stanley with similar specs and it's really quiet (IMHO) for an air compressor.
Me too, ive had mine for about 7 years, still running well and paid $399 at the time.
Can I use this on the wife?
No kinkshaming about inflation fetishes here
I still get giddy every time I look at this in my workshop. Love it and what a deal.
What do you use it for. Thinking of returning the bunnings fullboar deal and getting this one.
Wasn't that deal 2 months ago?
yeah, still sitting packed on the bench. Obviously, I don't need an air compressor..
@MarsTitan: I use mine a couple of times a week from inflating things, air tools, sandblasting small items and occasional small job spray painting. If you haven't used it yet then you probably don't need it.
@MS Paint: Just curious if you wanted to do a diy spray paint job on a car
How much would it cost to do it yourself?
Not worry about dirt particles, and just want to look alright from far distance
@ATTS: I would suggest a bigger compressor than this to paint a car so no change out of $1k at least (IMHO)
I use it to inflate tyres, both car and bicycle… Inflate sports balls, clean out dust from things, blow up pool toys. I love I don't need canned air anymore.
lol if that's all you're using it for this would have been better https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/809298
@eddyah: No I disagree
You should return it. It's so god damn loud!
Pretty sure mine is defective too, had a similar issue to others where it doesn't cut off at 8 psi. Gonna look into warranty claim.
I was actually looking at this Stanley one since it's meant to be quieter and the LPM is higher.
Will probably return it tomorrow. Was a hassle to bring it home too.
Can someone tell me the CFM of this machine?
Thanks, didn't realise it was that simple
I want this just to clean out the cutting pads when I polish my car. Is that extravagant?
bought this like 2 years ago for $450 on sale at SUPERCHEAP AUTO, it is not as quiet as you would expect for the money… gets the job done for my home DIY JOBS THOUGH
