I wouldn’t bother getting this. Support will be ending soon so would recommend Fenix 7 or Epix 2 instead Happy to answer question on the latter since I own one
Plenty of people still rocking Fenix 3 and Fenix 5 models. Support doesn't mean much if it still works. Infact, them stopping updates may work in your favour with how often an update breaks something
Idk I paid this price for mine before the Fenix 7 and 7 pro were out.
So you paid a cheaper price 12+ months ago and thats worthy of a neg?
Not sure that's how this works
I paid a cheaper price 2.5 years ago, the product is now end of life. Yeah I think its a bad deal.
With this mindset u might as well neg most of the posted deals. Prices gone up due to the economy
I paid this price 12 months ago
I was initially disappointed with the screen (non-AMOLED) but now I love it.
I won't leave home without it !
If this will be your first Fenix, go for it - this is quite a good deal.
Fenixes don't go obsolete like others. If the features you want are in the 6, go for it. Sapphire is almost indestructiblr and I highly recommend - using my f5+ for 5 years already and still going strong.
If this was the 7 I would upgrade ( OXY + led light). if I didn't have a Fenix I would jump in.
Forerunners are way inferior and go for 100-200 less on sale.
🤔 is this watch only good for like runners and hikers? I’m mainly using watches for weights lifting. Considering upgrading Apple Watch.
Yes, and it is probably overkill for gym only use. I got no idea what apple watch offers so can't help there.
Might be looking to buy the Venu 3 then. Thx
I wouldn't bother if weights is your goal. This is a cardio focused watch
Great thanks. Will consider venu3 instead
@sauce2k: It does surprisingly well at identifying what strength exercise you are doing and how many reps. Wouldn't rely on it as a diary though but it does track strength training.
@dan76n: this is Venu?
@sauce2k: I'd stick with Apple Watch. Garmin is only good for activities like running or cycling. You'd miss all of the extra features you get with Apple.
@bargain ben: Such as?
@sauce2k: The Fenix 6
I paid the same for this a couple years ago, and the thing has shit itself recently. Not a great deal for older units - look to the Fenix 7
I've had the Fenix 6 pro for 2.5 years and had zero issues. Absolutely abuse it at work (work in trades) and never had issues with non saphire edition cracking the screen. Battery still lasts a long time (over a week) even with lots of GPS fitness tracking.
This is now 30% off the discounted price bringing it down to $489 - good deal?
I would - If I had damaged mine and couldn't wear it any longer, and I saw it at this price, I would buy it again.
As long as you're happy that it doesn't have an AMOLED screen/watch face.
They're still providing software updates for this watch btw - got an update a few weeks ago.
It was this price one year ago.
