I’ll be shot if I buy more toilet paper

    • I’ll do sh*t if I buy more toilet paper

About a quarter of my garage is a stockpile of TP and paper towels courtesy of ozb

      • Yeah it can become an addiction. Epidemic prepping in progress

  • +11

Sitting on the toilet, reminded me we need (more) TP, open Ozb, here we are.
    Thanks OP.

    • Snap haha

  • Perfect!

I'm not running low, but may as well buy now. It's nice knowing there is ample reserve, you can shit with confidence.

Confidence is the Aldi brand, on that note I checked the price at Aldi today, and the 2 ply extra long rolls are cheaper than this deal, and even though they are only 2 ply the paper is much stronger and sh!ts all over this rubbish. Makes me wonder why these deals are so highly rated?

      • The extra long rolls don't fit on the toilet paper holder though, do they? That's my gripe with the extra long tp.

        • They fit, they just don't spin as easily for the first few days

      • They are 3 ply, at least the double length is. There's also 24 packs of single length that were around $10 last I checked.

  • Ordered - cheers

  • Perfect timing

Aldi sells it for cheaper or same price, also shits do not wait Bezos' deliveries, when they come, they come out of..!

Proof or you’re full of sh*t

    • +2

      Aldi don't stock this brand.

    • +3

I don't get why people buy this. I would have assumed most people used 3 seashells by now. No waiting required.

Costco Kirkland paper far better. But good value if you don't have a Costco around.

Quality of Amazon Quilton 3 ply has definitely declined over the last 2-3 years

      • +4

When I was a kid, a Quilton 3 ply pack like this one, could get me and my family through the winter.

Nowadays, it'll barely last a fortnight.

        • +2

When you make an error in judgement because of how thin the paper is you really can't unsee things.

      • +1

4 Ply is where it's at these days, but even there it's dropped off a bit.

      • Find my recent quilton tp to be very rubbers almost, like it doesn't tear off easily. Thinking there's plastic in it? I don't know but it just feels plasticy, otherwise don't know why it's suddenly tough to tear.

        • Yeah - I've got some old 3 ply from ages ago. Softer and tear off is easy. The last few batches that I got from Amazon are much harder. Feels less "papery" if that makes any sense. Don't know if it's the same for Coles/Woolies sourced Quliton.

Bought a pack of Kirkland TP to try. Not keen on Quilton anymore.

I'd pay a premium to not go to costco, most overrated shop in existence. The people who shop there are worse than kmart shoppers.

  • Thanks, got 4

This is a long running deal as Amazon are matching Big W everyday pricing for the pack of 48

Also camelx3 said it has been that price

I am confused what's the bargain, isn't that the same price as Big W everyday where sometimes you can stack some Woolworths reward deals?

  • -3

Everyday price is not bargain. Also mentioned by bargainsgrabber.

  • Thanks op, just in time for the zombie deer pandemic…😨

Coles sell the Quilton 3-ply 20 rolls for $11. So 48 rolls equates to $26.40 at Coles everyday price.

  • Thanks OP

  • It's only $21.60 if select reoccurring delivery (set it at 6 months and cancel anytime)

    • Yep, that's the S&S option.

  • Seems OOS at the moment

    • It's not OOS yet.

  • How come the 48 pack rolls are much smaller than the 45 pack ones? Both are apparently 180 sheets, 3 ply and 11x10cm. However on the 45 pack reviews on Amazon, there are a few photos proving the difference in how the 45 is larger. Are they just more compacted? The 48 pack ones also always seem to be very roughly cut.
