Is it cheaper? I thought when Amazon is on sale, it's about the same?

      • -5

Yeah, I forget here full of grave diggers who spend over 2500 bucks for a phone w/o blinking eyes and then dig for 1 or 2 cent cheaper deals. Btw, on right top column Quilton scores 5 stars on Amazon but 1 and half stars on product review.

remember, there was a time when people would pick a fight in the supermakets for a single roll of TP.

prepare for the next pandemic, load up now!!

  • +2

How do people use/dispense these at home when you can't put them on a typical roll holder?

    • +11

No inner packs means it is a plastic bag with 48 rolls in it, not individual packs of 6 or 8.

      • Thanks. I thought no inner meant they don't have an proper hole with the cardboard bit.

    • -1

      why couldnt you?

    Cornholio says muchas gracias.

Isn’t this the usual ongoing price ?

  • +16

    Everyday price is not bargain

  • +6

Indeed it is the usual price. Not sure how this is a bargain even with the SS discount

Quilton 3 Ply Toilet Tissue Pack of 48 Rolls, The quality is not good as before, I am switched to COSTCO KIRKLAND

    • Just wondering if costcos works out cheaper ??

      • Kirkland from Costco JUST works out to be slightly cheaper than the Quilton at $22.73. Kirklands - 25c per 100 sheets and Quilton - 27c per 100 sheets

  • +3

According to camels, isn't this pretty much standard price? Same with the 45 roll deal
*edit just refreshed the page and saw everyone made the same comment already

  • What’s better 3ply or 4ply

    • Good question. Til recently, I swore by the Gold 4-Ply, but you seem to go through the rolls way too quickly, and if I didn't know better, they're not as soft as they used to be.

Bought this 3-Ply 48 pack a while back (since they were ridiculously cheap… some sort of bonus 10% stacked with the 10% S&S), and have found these to be just as soft and they last a lot longer. The only negative of buying these is as others have said - they're just 48 rolls in one huge plastic bag. Difficult to find a place to store them. Whereas the 45 pack of 3-ply or the Gold 4-ply comes in 6 roll packs wrapped separately, so it's easier to stuff one in the ensuite and another in the powder room near the main toilet for example.

It's down to personal preference. Try them both out. If you hate the 3-ply, stick it in the "public toilet" for everyone to use, and keep the 4-ply for yourself in your ensuite/other toilet.

    • +1

3ply is sweet spot, cos if you have guests over they finna be folding too thick like theyre used to

      • Do you survey the guests on toilet exit?
        1. Scrunch or fold?
        2. Did the ply factor influence your use?
        3. How did it compare with your usual toilet paper?
        4. What rating out of 10 would you give for your experience?
        5. …

Bummer, a regular price is not a bargain..

    • -1

      $22.73 is normal price?

      • +1

Yes, $22.73 is the normal price (with S&S option).

  • is this a toilet paper war weekend?
there are 3 toilet paper deals could someone please annouce the best one to go with?
    TIA

    • +1

depending on how long you can hold on, I think there is a better deal to come.

  • This stuff used to be soft but I’ve noticed it’s gone real tough like recycled toilet paper

    • Same, I just thought my butt was getting old & sensitive

  • +2

Seriously? Everyday price is NOT a bargain.

Say it with me - Ozbargain not OzI-noticed-it-in-my-Amazon-list-and-want-post-points

  • This delivered, has come in super handy when we have only a few rolls remaining

  • +2

Not a bargain, sorry op but they sit at this price pretty much all the time.

  • +2

Strange to see so many + votes when this has been a standard price for quite some time.

  • old enough to remember the great shortages of 2019

  • You're all soft. When I was a boy, we used barbed wire!

  • Just received this the other day. All 48 rolls came in the one packet.
I usually get the 45 roll deal (comes individually packed in 9's).

The 48 pack rolls are smaller and quality does not feel as soft

Will be going back to the 45's
