This seems to be a good price for the King deluxe single swag. Haven't used the swag before.

These swags are great value for money, especially if you only use them every so often. Would recommend upgrading the mattress though.
Yep, thicker mattress is advisable. I always use a groundsheet under my swag to protect the base. Also provides a doormat if it rains.
Good price but be aware that AK swags have quite a few reports of problems with poles and a lack of water resistance. Worst comes to worst you could always buy a tent fly in case.
Just season the canvas before taking it on a trip. I popped mine in the bathtub for 24 hours & it worked a treat 👍
Quite a few reports of problems even after seasoning. Probably a QC issue in China. Some good, some not so good.

I used a Blackwolf hexatherm queen mattress. Mind you I’ve got the Big Daddy model which is larger than the one advertised here. I’d recommend go to a camping shop that has them on display so you can test them out yourself & what suits your budget etc

Reviews are mixed on this. Make sure you take the time to season your swag properly before use if there’s a chance of rain.
i have used mine for years and love it no problems with light rain but never tried during a storm also remeber to season the swag before using it camping so fibres swell up.
It looks just the same as the Dune swag that Anaconda sells. Is there any difference?
Kings measurement and fabric are better than Anaconda ones. Currently this is cheaper than Anaconda ones.
I recommend getting one without a mattress and getting an inflatable mattress instead. I got a double swag for the kids and the mattress makes the swag huge when rolled up.
Closed cell mattre$$? Or, don't camp in cold conditions because air mattresses are very cold under your body. They can make even a rated sleeping bag ineffective. Been there done that.
Note there is no bag included at this price.
