Just purchased the Beko BDPB904HW for $1100, which was an in-warranty replacement for an AKAI heat pump dryer that died.

I can whole-heartedly recommend the Beko. Obviously not the same model as this one, but there was a world of difference between the AKAI and the Beko. We were almost sworn off heat pump dryers from how slow the AKAI was to dry clothes, but it's night and day with the Beko.

Plus, 5 year warranty is nothing to sneeze at compared to most units only having 2 years.

    • Just got the same unit. Free delivery from appliancesonline, including removal of the old dryer. So far finding the “mixed” setting with dryness level of 3 gives a good return. The old dryer was a condenser and it was good, but needed repairs so decided to invest in a new one. The door is plasticky but otherwise all seems well put together. Worth checking out their eBay store as I could get $100 off with a voucher there….

brrrr,,,,,$345.30 for delivery in Victoria to 3029 & 3030. Its 50% of the appliance cost. No Go!!!

    • Ha, almost $500 for me…

  • Appliance online might match this. I bought this for the same price and had it delivered free and had the old POS one taken away.

I use this, and it works very well. Use the drain hose that's included and it stacks perfectly on my LG 7.5KG
