Killer deal including the bonus free lens. This is also the “X” model which includes a few video focused features over the standard S5 II.

Making me really sad I don't have $3100 to spend.
Had the money during black friday, but when I saw very little in S5 IIX deals, I spent it on other stuff.Amazing deal, paid that amount for the camera + 20-60… it's a great camera
Was around the $2850 mark during Black Friday with the extras lens
I think you're mistaking this for the S5 II
The S5 IIX with a kit lens has not been $2850 since it released.
I've been watching it very closely since announcement.
Only the S5 IIX without a kit lens was below 3kDefinitely was the S5 IIX, I know because I bought one lol..
Dang, that’s a steal. With both lenses?
@aaaZzz: Yep.. they ran an additional 5% store wide on the actual Black Friday which brought it down to $2850
Don’t forget 3% CR Cashback.
I can actually see it lower at $3,088
I believe Op added surcharge as title said
Correct, that was what I paid after checking out.
Is this a camera y’all would recommend for beginners wanting great quality stills and good vid?
yea if you could afford it. modern cameras are easy to use
Would it suit taking close up macro shots ? Part of my interest in this is I do 3D work and wanting to start learning to make me own textures
Why am I being downvoted? I said nothing downvotable..
@ShrewdBargin: I don’t know why either considering valid question from beginner. To answer your question, yes would suit your purpose. May be a bit of an overkill if you are not into serious video since the standard s5 II is $300 cheaper and would suit as well. Recommend the sigma 70mm and 105mm arts lens for macro. More here:

@Buy2Much: One final q if I may, do you have any thoughts regarding the included lens in this deal or is it not worth the money (I.e just buy the body + lens I require)
@ShrewdBargin: Actually, both included lens are capable of macro. Try them out before investing in more specialised macro lens:

But I would suggest you save some $ buying the standard S5 II with these 2 lens included if you are not into serious video: https://www.amazon.com.au/Panasonic-Mirrorless-Unlimited-Rec…
This or a Sony A7C mark II?
This is superior for videos is what I’ve learned from my research. A bit bulkier, but the viewfinder makes a big difference in bright light conditions when the rear screen might not cut it.
Great deal. I really want to try a Full Frame system, but can't justify it
