  • 3800 lumens i dont believe it

    • I read on budgetlightforum forums (I think) that the max theoretical output of those cree leds is 1000 lumens. This Torch as 3 leds, so therotecial max is 3000lm, however you should minus a % for overheads/inefficiencies. Actual output is probably more like 1000lumens in total (if that).

Also, there is a typo with the product description, up top it says it takes 1 battery, and in the specs, it says it takes 2. I suspect it takes 2 18650s. Even my TrustFire Z5 with 1 led takes 2 x 18650s, and that doesn't last a very long time on high.

  • Brightness: 3800Lumens … powered by 1 x 18650 rechargeable battery … is of low power consumption

    Perfect for porcine aviation.

    and my favourite:

"This Flashlight Torch can be hung to your keys in case of emergency"

Any chance of discount on your Sunwayman/Fenix/Jetbeam/Klarus brand flashlight?

    • Yes, of course. Last time, we have a discount on Ultrafire.
This week we choose this skyray flashlight.
Maybe next time, we will choose FENIX.
And if there are some products you like, you can also send the SKU or link to me.
I will see if I can offer you a nice discount :))))

      • Thank you very much for your fast reply. I'm interested to buy SkyRay King as other member posted above, for now. Maybe later you can stock Sunwayman T60CS or V60C and offered nice deal on those.

How can I proceed on getting the discount you mentioned for the SkyRay King above?

      • :))) If all of you intereted in the SkyRay king item.
I will contact the factory to see the lowest price we could offer and maybe I will post a new deal when this one is over.
And then I will send you a message :))

        • Thank you, please keep us posted.
I might be able to help you draw more sales by posting on couple of flashlight enthusiast website :)

Lower price is always welcomed, as long as you can make sure that the quality is maintained.
No offence, but chinese manufacturer tend to employ too much shortcut (which compromise overall quality) when lower price is being asked from them.

You can check by disasembling the flashlight and compare the component and built quality from their original batch.

Bought one ;) Thanks OP. Next time please do a deal on the Fenix TK21 U2. It's fenix's most popular model according do a survey on candlepowerforums.com

  • Misleading as it's NOT 3,800 lumens. Wouldn't even be 380!! Do a search on ebay for quality torches that are in the 200+ lumen range from known brands with verifiable outputs. They range from $50 and up and are 200 lumens or thereabouts. 3,800? - pffft. At least make it somewhat believable and you'd get more sales.

      3800 no, but 3xCree XM-L T6 will definitely give more than 380.

      Dear friend,
I think it's a little unfair to us because you didn't use or see the item before you made the judgement.
You mean the price is too low for flashlight of 3,800LM?
So if I change the price higher, it's reasonable?

      • -1

we don't need to use the product to know you're lying about the output

        • -1

The website is just advertising what the manufacturer rated it at, so the store isn't lying.

Cheaper flashlights are always lumen overrated, get used to it.

        • -1

          Yes, they are.

        • -1

So the website should get the flashlight tested and post different specifications than the manufacturer provides?

  • is thr any diving torches on sale? really need one for night diving.

    Man
There are some serious torch aficionados on this site. Every time there is a flashlight post I get blown away by the passion.
