  • Are you sure that it starts at 7pm AEST?

The Singles Day event on 11/11 started at 6pm AEST (7pm AEDT).

    • Ah yep thanks. Dunno why the mod got 8pm from

Sidenote the Realme C67 selling for around $AUD250 (under 14000rp) in India (6gb , 128gb) on Amazon. AX's factory store shipped price is currently $USD382 (AUD570!).

Nice to see the 'Aussie Tax' is still well and truly in place. So yeah they'd want a coupon or two to make that more attractive - unless the Indian version is incredibly sawn down but doubt it.

    • Realme C67 isn't on sale yet so we don't know how much it will be. It was worth a mention.

    • About A$239 on AliExpress. It's always important to check prices when the sale is live and not before ;)

    • +4

The buyer protection is getting weaker and weaker that's for sure. However, always buy the seller first. I only buy from sellers with long-standing stores, high store feedback and high product feedback with photos. If all the reviews are form Japan it's a scam.

      • +7

Not at all undermining your experiences at all but I'm yet to have anything but an excellent response from Ali on the rare occasions I get dudded by a seller.

Most recently was buying a bunch of pretty expensive socks for hiking - was promised certain materials (which is critical when you're wearing for many km's and days) received something completely different. Seller was a jerk and Ali gave full refund for all the items bought from them after a few days.

        • +2

Very rarely do I have issues. The key with expensive items is to weigh them before opening and filming the unboxing.

          • @ilikeit: You didn't get the old 'rock in a box' trick did you?

            • @Daniel Plainview: Nope. The vast majority of the items that I buy are watch parts and watches, so I'm usually aware of the quality or the standard of the manufacturer. The only issues I've ever had have been items that were low cost that I took a punt on that were damaged due to poor/cheap packaging. Also, ordering something in one size and getting another. I always check the packaging thoroughly before opening, and when necessary, test the items before removing plastic protection.

    Codes don't work?

My DeLorean is in for repairs too so will have to wait 2 days like a normal pleb.

      • -1

Oh i see! I'll be back in a couple of days then to offer a review!

    what are these in AUD?

    • +3

Let us know after you google it

      • why would you post deal in USD if you are buying in AUD?

        • -1

I agree this is ozbargain not usabargain so it should be in AUD surely?

        • +3

Doesn't AliExpress charge more in AUD than USD?

      • Math numeracy is pretty poor in Aus, it's too hard for most people to multiply USD by 1.5 to get to AUD.

    • +5

If you've got a 'no international fee' credit card, it's cheaper to pay in USD. Also, the exchange rate is currently volatile. So for many of us, USD price is more useful

      • Wish I knew this two months and $3k ago :’)

Jeez i love Ali Express. Lol

The amount of good stuff ive picked up from them over the years to feed whatever autistic obsession i have at the time.
    Mechanical keyboards.
    Audio gear, headphones IEMs
    RC gear

You name it they have it

Stick with reputable sellers with good feedback.
Only had one or two issues over the years, a few claims majority refunded in full and was never anything of high value that didn't turn up or arrived broken.

    • +2

      Mechanical keyboards

Don't get me started. The amount of kits, keycaps and switches I've bought is wayyyyy too much.

      • +2

I'm doing my best to hide AX keyboard stuff from a co-worker I got hooked on mech keys.

He will end up divorced if I don't stop him lol

      • +3

You should probably start a forum post with all your recommended Aliexpress products /stores. Others could add to it as well.

        • +3

Some of the AliExpress influencers are subbed to my wish lists I noticed. A lot of stuff on sale I add for here end up there a short while later.

      • Brought the Royal Kludge M75 after abit of research over 11/11 sale period.

Absolutely love it for a pre built keyboard.

Turns out it was an updated model too with south facing LEDs.

Quality is amazing for just over $100.

        • South facing leds

          Please no I don't need a 5th keyboard

  • Has anyone recently received ID verification from them asking for a photo ID? Is it safe to upload personal ID (Driver’s license or Passport)?

    • Unusual. Have you been paying with CC instead of PayPal?

      • +1

        No. I pay with paypal

    • -2

I'd pass on that. The ccp would like it tho..

  • +4

I started getting into aliexpress recently and went a bit overboard, already have like 20 separate orders coming in 🥲

Anyone getting this? "This coupon code is for single use only and can't be used here"

    • Same

      • Yes, also getting same response trying to use AENY10 code

    • Looks like a 7pm start.

      • Working now! Thanks

  • +1

Beautiful the prices got jacked up just in time for the coupons 😒

From 56.50 to 67.80 USD - and AE also wacked a "Lowest price in 30 days" on the new more expensive listing price.

  • Ended up buying this head helmet massager which i assume is the same/similar base to the $700 breo on amazon. ended up being less than $80 shipped. Also dropped in price before this deal https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005005236120346.html?spm=a2g…
Looks like you're from the future, also apparently helps for migraines

    • Would be interested to know how it is.

  • Code - AENY5 - works on the Steeldive SD1970. The cheapest I can find it is… US$67.66 + GST

  • Coupons are 1 per account

    Is that, per account,
    1. One of each coupon
    2. One of AENY* and one of 23NY*, or
    3. One coupon only (as implied)

  • +1

    Nice. Covers the GST.

  • When I use 'AENY5', it says 'Sorry, these coupon codes have already been claimed. However, you can still enjoy other great deals on AliExpress.' Does this mean it's no longer available for use?

    • Correct. What about the other one?

      • all the same. :(

    • At the Singles Day sale, exhausted coupons made numerous reappearances, as reported at the time, so it might be worth retrying. I had success then by trying over and over, maybe 30+ times 😕

      • Thanks, I will try.

  • Looks like the $45 USD's are all used up. Will wait for the next round of sales.

  • I believe AENY25 is no longer available but 23NY25 is still working.

  • What's the best cashback for electronic? I'm looking at a red light therapy unit.

    $300-$700

Should I wait for Boxing day? I assume maybe 10% cashback or something.
