"It even features USB 3.0, making data transfers faster!" Features usb 3? Either it's usb 3 or not.

    • +2

It means that USB3 is a feature. I'm sure it also features USB2. The wording was ok I believe, given the type of person that writes those ads.

    • Haha. I am not sure it is even USB 2, not if one regard USB 2 to be 50MB/s. ;)

    "I bought 10 to resell"

I hope for your sake that they are genuine 64Gb sticks. If I were you, I would test the capacity thoroughly before selling any to avoid 10 angry people looking for you.

    • I hope so too. If they aren't what they say they are I'll
Just send them back. Payment is through PayPal so should be protected I reckon. Besides, I bought a cheap HDD from this site before (I now get their emails) and it was all good - 2TB WD HDD for $130. Nice!

    • "I bought 10 to resell"

you are nuts. i strongly doubt they could sell them at that price after going through a group buy site. better test them before selling

      • +1

Thanks for your reply. It wasn't me who bought them.

  • I bought 10 to resell ;)

    You sir are a Borden.

      Broden I think… ?

Yep, Broden. Shouldn't have replied so you could fix, soz.

Wonder if it's be worth suggesting that PU's be able to edit their posts after they have been replied to, or at any time thereafter. We can edit very old posts that would otherwise be uneditable, even if they are out own, so why not posts.

That way if info changes or needs adding to etc, we can do so without having to post again, just add to what we have already said etc.

Because this way if someone makes a misleading comment they can't just change it, it sucks when you make a mistake but it has been done for a good reason.

        • this

        • I'm not suggesting it for everyone, only the power users who are trusted not to make such statements, I would hope.

If it's an unintentional "misleading statement", be nice to be able to correct or amend it. This is something for the forums anyway, not here, I shouldn't have started it.

      • That mistake was thanks to my phones auto correct I believe.

Yes I was supposed to say Broden.

      • where is broden these days? why is he in the penalty box? is broden and jv the same person?

    • I'd imagine they sell hundreds, I doubt my 10 will make any difference..
However, having read the link below I'm now a bit concerned I shouldn't have been so greedy. Hopefully it won't come back to bite me.

Based on the description it's this:

    http://onquedigital.com/#/usb-flash-drive/4568606136

According to a previous deal for the same brand (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80305) the performance has been questionable. My guess is that they're saying it works in a USB3 slot (as a USB2 drive) but it can very easily be interpreted as being a USB3 drive.

bought from Spreets last month, all files corrupted, only 64mb instead of 32g if test with utility.

    • Ha your kidding?
Ye olde Chinese fake capacity memory? Cant believe they are still trying that on.
Are you sure it wasn't just a faulty stick? Did others get the same result?

      • copied a 1G movie to it, only the first few minutes playable.

        • +1

Other than playing a movie, you say you used a test utility, did you save the output, if so, can you paste it here?

        • Yup, please do this!

    • 64MB, are you in the process of getting a refund?

      • paypal dispute in process

    • 64MB? It must be more than that. At least 4GB or 8GB. Every customer would notice 64MB limitations immediately.

      • +1

        I noticed it immediately

        • You should neg this deal to serve as a potential warning to others, if you bought the same drive. That is the true purpose of the -vote.

        • agreed, same retailer

    • i wouldnt be complaining if it was 64mb. theyre a collectors items. hard to get a 64mb stick these days

Yep, thats well and truly screwed.
I wonder if its a bad stick or they are all dodgy?

Anyways, you can use that read out to show PayPal if you have to make a claim.
Cheers, and hope you get a quick resolution vinzchang.

There's been two other posts featuring these onQue sticks, one from cudo and the other from spreets. Looks like whomever is importing this junk is doing the rounds to shift them.

Only one person has reported receiving them though, and that's vinzchang. We really need one more person who bought to do the same test and post the results.

If we can confirm they are fake rubbish and vinzchang wasn't just unlucky, I suggest we ask the mods to ban this brand from future posts.

Negging to warn others of the above information.

  • I tried to cancel the purchase when they did not deliver for three weeks. Then they sent it 1 month after I order and both tested to be fakes. Trying to get my money back through pay pay.
