Pretty bad feedback on this store -
If a business is using OzB to make money off the community then customer service should be a step above, not a few steps below.
All those condom deals are pretty niche aren't they? Let's face it, OzBers aren't getting that much action.
Save yourself the trouble and check out their google reviews which are mostly 1 star
worth more than the car! ššš
Can mods please have a look at the poor quality of this reps deals?
The response would be something like this.
STOP SHOUTING AT ME
LOUD NOISES!
Dodgy seller, avoid.
I purchased a part from their eBay store at the start of the year and stupidly didn't open to check it until 6 months later.
When I went to fit it, I realised it was incorrect and to suit a different vehicle (their fault, not mine - I ordered the correct part).
I contacted them and they refused to replace or refund the order. Went through ACCC and CAV with no success.
This is the second recent post where you used All Caps in your description. Continue this behaviour and we will take preventative action against you and your store. Really? Your stance on post format is strict, but you're not concerned about how they conduct business and scam customers?
OzBargain moderators are not consumer affairs ombudsmen or the police. We only uphold our website's guidelines.
So sellers are free to scam and take advantage of members of this website, but God forbid if they don't follow your deal submission rules!
Yikes.
@magic8ballgag: We are uncertain on what basis you hold us accountable for commercial transactions between a consumer and a seller that took place off our website. We have no investigative powers, we have no mediation powers, and we have no judicial powers. Yet you want us to act as the police, judge, and executioner. You wrote that we allow sellers to scam members, but how are we supposed to know the whole truth, to judge, and to impose binding remedial actions on sellers and buyers when we hold no legal power to do anything?
@alvian: I didn't ask you to investigate the matter, but I at least expected you to do everything in your power to prevent your members being potentially scammed.
At least the deal title/description looks pretty though, the more clicks the better, eh?
@magic8ballgag: How do we know for certain that our members were scammed? We only have your sides of the story. What happens when the merchant come to us and said you tried to steal from them and you tried to damage their business with false claims? Do we then ban you based on their words?
Possibly the most specific/niche bargain we have ever seen on OzB
