yes they are on zombie hunter approved list
Do I need one? Probably.
Do I know what it is? Definitely not.
Did I get one? Yes.
when the zombies come, you wished you brought one.
I got one and found forty warriors hiding inside…😲
Skin only. Any deals on a battery and charger to go with this?
wrong thread you need the spec savers one
so what's the use for this?
Mainly breaking up hard soil, think digging in clay or compact rocky soil. Its come in handy removing stumps in the past.
Thanks. Bought one. Let's see if i can use it in a few years
Don't wait too long. The best usage is in the younger years, before the back gives out. ;)
Yeah very useful for digging up harder soils.
I removed 4 massive Elephant Yukka stumps with this tool alone last spring. Saved myself an excavation quote of $4000 less $50 for the Mattock at the time. Diggers have no idea how to quote. Would buy at full retail price again.
I bought mine when I was digging a trench for my stormwater pipe. This and a trenching shovel did the job.
I borrowed one from a friend for a similar job and it made digging lots easier. Bought this one now. Thanks OP
burying corpses… of your beloved dead pets
used mine to rip out some plants, sure beats a regular shovel or using your hands
Trenching
Investigate and solve crimes
much difference with this?: https://www.bunnings.com.au/saxon-2kg-fibreglass-pickaxe_p02…
that's a pickaxe. similar but different to a mattock
ah yeah, i should have looked closer 😅
Cheers
depends on the zombie. some will respond to pickaxe, some to a mattock. stubborn ones need both with a battery chainsaw for good measure.
damn, I bought it two weeks ago and started using it from Monday! does Bunnings accept returning used products? Do they have a price guarantee?
Buy another one, return it with the old receipt.
buy a new one at the new price, then return that new one with the old receipt
good point, will do that.
did it as suggested and got back a refund!
Do you even bother doing this or just take the receipt to the service desk and asking them to refund and repurchase the item?
me, i struggled to deal with bunnings service desk to replace a provably faulty item.
i am but a student learning from the experts at ozbargain
God mode ozbargainer right here folks
Stop being a tight arse , it's not gonna change your life !
Thanks, stocking up for the next zombie/covidpocalypse…
I have a nature strip that’s recently overgrown with weed. I want to dig it all up, pour fresh soil and lay turf. Would this be the tool for it? It’s pretty hard dusty type clay. Do I need to break it down before digging it up
Most say to not disturb the soil. Lay cardboard and layers of straw/green waste, more brown (leaves), another green layer, plant seeds/lay turf, straw again. Water each layer.
You could add chicken manure before the 1st cardboard, to help the breakdown.
I've added it to my project list. I have some huge roots to cut and pull and this tool looks like it will help.
Also, can't believe no one has said this already..
Gee time to call Matlock Police !
got 1, ready for zombie apocalypse
Damn, thought I could dual-weild with my Oknife Otacle A1 Hatchet but this thing is HUGE in comparison..
Took me a while to grab it because I was affixed to another item called a "multi-hoe". Just stood there throwing $5 bills at it..
Remember the crazy deal from…. I think it was Supercheap - fibreglass handle mattocks for $1 AND free shipping? (yes I have enuff mattocks for multiple zombie attacks)
