Not sure on the quality but I've been impressed by my old pedestal DC fan from Kogan bought a few years ago. Cheaper than the Aldi circulator with free delivery on ebay plus.

Checked there, without First it came to $65.98 shipped? Obviously if you're paying for first it's a better deal.
Why would anyone pay for First when the 14 day free trial is always available regardless of how many times you've already trialled it?
Just don't forget to cancel before you get billed.
Even then, I've accidentally forgot twice and they've still refunded.. 😅
@WasBargain: They refunded? Dang it, should've asked!
Honestly had no clue until you pointed that out - cheers.
haha legend, copped it with first!
Time to unsubscribe immediately :)
Ty
I'm seeing $44.99 ?
Thanks OP. Seems a good deal to buy direct from Kogan.
Says delivery not available without paying $24.99 :(
That is from kogan directly [ not ebay]
Yes even WITH first added
Thanks thoAlso too negger !
Oh wow, interesting that it's not free. It even says it on the page.
By the way, I didn't neg you!
I have this, it’s pretty decent. Prefer the look of the Mistral one from Bunnings which I also have but they both perform more or less the same
Owned one since the beginning of the year and purchased for $98 delivered.
No issues when used in bathroom to remove shower steam or kitchen bench top - fan is DC quiet, build is very shiny plastic and would purchase again.
3 x cool settings??? Warm air, faster warm air, or sleep warm air
Dammit - I was in such a rush to buy it because my internet connection drops out about now every day I didn't use the $4 off code. No soup for you, shaybisc.
How/where to use $4 off code?

See description above. Put it in the appropriate box - Gift cards, vouchers, coupons- at checkout on ebay.
If I cancel Kogan first, will I keep the account credit?
The Vornado are much more expensive. Is it because of brand/quality? Or the specs are different?
Not sure about the technical differences but the DC Vornados have a mechanical on/off which enables them to be used with smart power outlets. I like having mine turn off automatically when I leave the house - it's practically silent at low speed so I always forget it's on.
Both. Most Vornados are much bigger than this Kogan 8" model, and the brand also has a price premium built-in. Vornado has a 5-year replacement warranty, so that drives up costs too.
Anecdotally, I have bought other cheaper DC fans but they don't seem to move as much air as my Vornados do, so their "air circulators" definitely are different to most traditional fans.
I have a Vornado fan, and I know it can't compete with it. I'm just wondering if its maximum speed can actually push air when compared to Kmart 40cm or 50cm fans?
Currently, I'm using two fans to try to circulate the cool air from the living room's air conditioner to my room. I have one Kmart 40cm fan in the living room facing towards my room, and I've placed the Vornado fan at the entry of my room. While this setup does work, there are times when I still don't feel cool enough. Getting another Vornado fan is beyond my budget, so I'm curious if fans like the 40cm one can perform better.Just purchased one of these that arrived today. It randomly started beeping and flashing 88. Anyone else have this issue / know how to fix it?
Purchased two. Arrived yesterday and both are functional, but they seem to have an annoying mild grinding sound that's particularly noticeable at low speeds (which I haven't heard from another couple of Kogan fans I've had) - like something is up with the bearings, but couldn't say for certain.
Will run them for a while to see if it dulls but considering a return :(
Pm me if you would consider selling them.
