Doesn't seem like a fair use of the deal neg given this is 35% off rrp, it doesn't get discounted very often and you haven't provided evidence.

Not a bad price, but I found these not bright at all, specs claim 600 lumens but I am not so sure.
So good for ambience (how they are merketed) but not as a typical halogen bulb replacement .
Plenty of other brands are 750+ lumens, a typical halogen LED would be 700-750lumens.
They are not super bright but we find them plenty bright (on a new house build) in the rooms, plus a couple in the lounge room for ambiance.
In the bedrooms I did 2 downlights above beds + central pendant light, and up stairs in the family room I did x4 with a pendant light but we basically never use the pendant light.
Rule of thumb I believe is 100 lumens per square metre.
I think lumens or lux (1 lumen per sqm) depends on the room type and purpose. Australian Standard levels (via third party site):

Whatever happened to the Aphelion downlights? I have seven installed and no spares. I really hope I never have to try to find a replacement.

Are these good lighting for a bedroom? I have 3 downlights in there at the moment which are burning out. room is 4mx3m with 10 foot ceilings.
I dont currently have a bridge which is a worry as they seem to lose their sync/color settings from time to time?
I too have high ceilings so chose Hue GU10 bulbs for the narrower beam angle (38° vs 110°). If you don't mind pre-owned, there are plenty of Hue bridges around as they were included with starter packs.
If you're happy to pay postage I can send you a brand new bridge.

Great all purpose light that you can DIY as long as you have a power point in the attic - using it to lighten my dark hallway. Got them for $51 at Bunnings last year so this price is comparable
The Phillips Hue deals certainly seem a lot further in between this year.
would this be good for a walk-in pantry light in a small space, if I put it in the walkway part rather than above the top shelf, if you know what I mean..? or would some form of strip lights be better?
Depends how much light you need? Try one of these and if it doesn't suit you'll be able to use elsewhere in your dwelling.
I've got it set up in my walk in pantry and think it's great. I've got the sensor as well, makes it super convenient having it automatically turn on
