    Ok I figured out the drive goes in too far into the socket. If I pull it out a bit it works. Weird, never had this problem with other drives.

    Anyway sent you a message on eBay.

    On the upside, the drive is really fast when it works.

    I've also experience intermittent non response issues.. and also i have unplugged it and plugged it back in, in order to get it to work.. quite sporadic.

    In terms of speed, i'm running a Retina MBP withe SSD and transfers at about 68MB/s, monitored with iStat. wtf?! so quick!!!

    I hope the drive is reliable..

  Just received my usb via mail. Works just fine :)

  It's my inner geekiness speaking but I also noticed that at the instructions at the back reads "1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes". Strictly speaking 1GB is about 1,073,741,824.
