  • Do they charge shipping for these rush hour deals?

    • +5

A 15 second check of adding to cart and entering postcode will answer that…to save you the 15 seconds the answer is…you pay for shipping!

      • Or you can pick it up for free (Sydney Warehouse Lidcombe)

        • Pickup at Mwave is vastly different to picking up at another computer shop.

As is them doing an RMA if you have a fault, as oppose to providing you with another unit

        • what is rma?

  • good find op thanks!

  • Wow.

Even Newegg has it for $175 USD. Really Good reviews.

    • oh so tempting >.<

    • I got that stand at home.. I won't recommend it for 3 24" lcds, they are not very sturdy

      • Oh well, bought all already, wasn't expecting much from $80 anyway… hopefully it will not fall apart shortly.

  • This is the second very good deal from MWave in 2 weeks!

I was just reading about cheap IPS monitors too.

    • I'm quite tempted by this, wondering if anyone else has had experience with it? +/- $300 for a 27" 2560x1440 monitor- wow! I just wonder how long it would last…

      • They're a bit of a gamble. Quite a large amount of buyers say there's no faults with there's, but a still decently large proportion also claim to have issues ranging from dead/stuck pixels, uneven backlights, poor stand quality, backlight bleed, and wonky color reproduction even after recalibration attempts.

That last one is probably due to the panels being "rejects" for Dell, Apple, and Asus' own 27" displays. And because they fail QA tests in some manner; rather than being thrown out, they sell these panels to businesses like Catleap to repackage as a cheap monitor.

As a tl;dr: They're good for the price, but there's a decent chance you'll end up with an issue.

  • should i get the Samsung s24b300H over the asus? i want to get 3 :D

EDIT: just realised the samsung are tn panels, would you guys consider these asus the cheapest ips monitors at this size?

    • I haven't seen any cheaper than this, unless someone else has….

  • so these are 1920*1080?

    • yes

      ASUS VS239H-P (IPS) 23" Full HD Widescreen LED Backlight Monitor - 1920 x 1080 Resolution >< - 50M : 1 Contrast Ratio - 5ms GTG Response Time - HDMI, D-Sub & DVI-D - ASUS Splendid >Video - Trace Free (VS239H-P)

but the deal has finished… dam

  • Price back up to $195.00

  • damm.. missed it!

  • -5

Obviously people have different experiences, but this company is dishonest and immoral. (and I am not only referring to previous "free" deals that have been posted here). While some may have positive experiences just a warning about this company if you choose to deal with them. Price isn't everything.

  • bought yesterday and delivered this morning. wooohooo. Thanks OP

  • I considered this but had to pass (3 of them). Hopefully there will be better deals after xmas

  • Bought 2 of these monitors at $139.90 each yesterday ;-)

Two weeks ago I bought 3 ASUS VE247H monitors for $169.90 each for work. Damn I should have waited a bit longer!
Can't wait to compare them to the IPS model!!!
