  I bought this item last year for $99 and it was counterfeit. Tested it and it was actually a 128GB drive pretending to be 1TB. https://i.imgur.com/FnN9dfl.png

  Amazon told me I have to return it to a get refund and I told them it's illegal to transport counterfeit goods. This is how it ended up: https://i.imgur.com/TAS5Kqf.jpg

      Yeah, had to argue with a parade of reps on the phone but eventually they refunded.

    Was the seller Amazon? Cause I always assume Amazon as a seller would be safe against this sort of counterfeit rubbish.
